from aug 29 to sept 24, I got this mob to spawn 22 times. I visited Karnors many times over that almost month checking for venril sathir. The goal here was to get a set of tolans guantlets. which i finally did on the 22nd kill. got 1 soul binder, 16 sarnak hide masks, 4 wild lord sandals and 1 tolans gauntlets. at least its done. but i will be back for more info on venril.

skeletal captain appeared on the static spawn location on the ramparts above the courtyards overlooking the moat bridge.
Placeholders: skeletal lookout, skeletal watcher.

i got the soul binder first time killing him , now , i cant get him to pop anymore ,my newest sk wants one
anyone takin track of how often he spawns vs the place holders?

I was there hunting with my monk today, the Skellie Capt dropped the mask as to be expected. But he also dropped ..

When the Identify spell is used, the beads identify as Trintle's Prayer Beads . . .
Basically the beads are used for faction adjustment as part of a quest turn in.
Brother Trintle is a level 4 in West Karana from the original era of Everquest; maybe the loot table for the skeletal captain (level 48/51, Kunark era) is corrupted or the incorrect drop was included. Hard to imagine that a human got reincarnated as a iksar skelly.

Where exactly does this guy spawn?
He spawns in on the wall walkway above LCY (Left Court Yard) in the north-west corner. You will find a static spawn looking out over the moat.
Weve killed this guy 3 times and all he dropped was the sarnak hide mask.

I got the wild lords sandles off this dude and sarnak hide mask. Rest must be rarer

it says hes on Karnor's Castle faction but is that the same as Ven Sath faction? i have a beastlord but my main is a Troll SK and would like to get these for my beastlord even though he is only level 10 but these would be good when he can finally use them just for fun.....

The Skeletal Captain now drops Wild lords sandels now as well, 6ac effect shrink, 5.5sec casting time, 0.4 weight, beastlord only.

Sorry Bud, but the Jade Mace drops off of Dog Captain, and Cobalt Boots off of Caller Of Sathir.
I understand that you obviously have nott seen these drops before. I have been hunting in KC with my Guild since 42, WOOT, lucky to get a group at 49 being a Warrior. I know this from personal experience also, I looted Jade Mace off of Dog Capt before, and lost rolls on Boots a few times also.
