Finally someone with alittle intelligence ! Necro / DRU combo = FUN / FAST Xp I am a 53 Necro, I have a 53 DRU hunting Partner ... I can't even think of a mob WE have gone up against that we didnt kill. If you are a Necro ... HOOK up with a DRU dude, let him pull ... let him Snare / ROOT, then let him MED an save mana while you Stack DoTs on a mob ( keep pet in reserve for emergencies ) When we hunt SF ... we can just about Chain pull with VERY LITTLE down time. The only time I hate DRU's is when they try to take over a freakn zone. ( ummm, lets see ... CS comes to mind ) I mean come on, alittle consideration for the other players tryn to hunt there is all im asking, not to tuff =)
Necros and druids have some of the most powerful DoTs in the game. They work well hunting together for one very important reason: REGEN. From what I understand, a necro's lich regens mana at a very quick rate (but of course, at the expense of draining your own life). Regen helps this considerably and if the druid is LOM, the necro can just mana dump the druid and you're set.
I hunt with a necro very often and our technique is simple: I snare pull (since my snare does tend to last so much longer than his does), he fears, sends the pet in, I use my Rowyl's bracer for a quick DoT, toss in another one, then he tosses in one or two. When mob is almost dead, I go pull another.
Granted, quadding mobs as a druid gives great exp, but there are times when I'm lonely and grouping with someone eases that pain (even if it is a necro). Just beware fellow druids, necros can get very demanding when it comes to spells (SoW/SoE, Chloro/Regrowth, SLN, blah blah blah). *grin*
get a bard in there and it will be nonstop ô¿ô let us sing mana, regen and nivs so the necro gets more mana with little or no loss of life the cleric gets a mana boost as well and you will have the fastest puller in any outdoor zone.

very good, thats called a group. lol. yes of course. I think the point was partnering. I found a Druid/Shadowknight to be pretty nice also. But yes, the post above is 100% correct, the Chloroplast alows the necro to regen, mana dump etc. Not to mention use the druids snare because the time is a bit more predictable (i think) and fear, dot the heck out of it... Not to mention a Necro can lifetap or empathy.
Necros can turn life to mana, mana to life. They can give life and can give mana. They are awesome in short. With a druid backing them, yea, its sick.
and i think you ment to say HEAL song and MANA song will stack, and yes... that would be really sick :) but thats not partnerting, thats grouping.
druids are dumb! yeah and my dad can beat up your dad. and hey, does anyone here like iced cream? i do.
How about some relevant information. what class are these things? do they summon like some of the other mobs in the zone? i guess i'll have to go find out on my own.

Dont quote me to anything on this.. but I believe this mob has a better chance of droping Necromancer spells then others in SF. I say this cause Ive gathered bags of spells while soloing SF.. and the only mob to ever drop a Necro spell for me, dropped off of this guy.
UUUMM. Druid and ranger dots, roots, and nukes will work on any mob unless that mobs resist is WAAAY high. Or if the mob is in an indoor zone. Druids rule but even superman has his weakness. Indoor zones are like cryptonite to druids.

LOL. It's funny how you always see Necro's slagging off Druids, but not the other way around? Maybe something to do with the fact that the Druid is by far the superior soloist in the game?
Fear Kiting? LOL. Why would a class with all those dots want to fear kite? Root, Dot and Med, like a DRUID does. Maybe it's because Necs have a pet that does all the work for them?
Oh, yeah we have SoW, but we Don't FD and let others take care of the mobs we cant handle. And I have yet to see any Necro refuse SoW or Chloro that I offer them. What can you offer us? :0)
Anyway, a Druid Necro combo is awesome in this zone and can chain pull ANY MoBs. So Necro's, get over your inferiority complex and make friends with a Druid... you wont regret it. :)
Umm most necros i know lvl 50+ AGGRO kite not fear kite, why because they have bond of death and lich and dont need to sit on their ***, aggro kiting just means snare dots and ubah pet (which i call the dot of death). Admittedly they cant QUAD but they CAN solo quite a few blue-red cons without regenning. But last pt is druids and necros both have the mad crazy solo skills, final edge ill give to necros because they can fd to split a tight camp while druid has to quad out the spawns which makes splitting camps of 5 or more difficult. But my main pt is if you are a necro dont fear kite, fear is the most worthless spell as you get grow in lvls becoming completely worthless once most mobs you fight become immune
