Was running out near FV to meet a friend with my 47 necro. About a bub of mana but I thought I was all good with invisibility on. Not the case! Even running along the waters edge I got jumped by a drixie that conned green. Managed to kill that one but a second jumps me then. Irritated to all hell since this one was green too I feigned death and gated.

I would recommend leaving these crits alone and kill the drolvargs instead. the drixies hate the drolvargs. i had my pet attacking a drolvarg and was half way through casting a heal on my pet when a drixie flew in and healed my pet up then attacked the mob. i managed to get the killing blow so i still got exp. but be careful, sometimes they heal your pet, kill your mob, then turn on you.

FV but faction work didnt apply to drixies AND
#$^$#%^@$ pilgrims!!!!! so u try to track down and kill these drixie meanwhile half of the pilgrim community aggroes u from across the zone (((( and while u try to get rid of em u see a drolvarg killing yer drixies !!!!!oh and a little
hint , watch your faction drop while u killing all them things cuz i guaranty u by the time u finally get the dust FV will hate u.have fun killing gobys if u ever wanna c F vie again (((

Down below someone posted a message saying that if you have one of these on you to run to the guards and they'll kill it. This is not a flame.
1) this site lists drixies on the same faction as the firiona vie guards so why would the guards kill it if it's on you?
2) I tried this ; attacked drixie ran to guards , got my **** kicked by the drxie and the guards who said something like 'you've made a mistake that your're going to pay for....' or something like that.
If you attack a drixie, beware of running to the FV guards. They will side against you. I did this twice to make sure I did not accidentally attack a guard.
p.s. after posting this I realized that the post RE: 'Don't run to guards' down further talks about this same thing. sorry for rehashing this topic.

The drixie dust does drop off those Firiona drixies. After 5 hours of killing around 100 drixies, I finally got the dust. The best spot to camp is the south shore line east to the FV port. While I was camping the drixies, I almost got smoked by Tracker Azeal; Quadruple hit with 170 of damange while I was medding. I succefully got away while the doggy pet hold him up. He con red to me at level 50. oh, the dust looks like a red powder.

Heh, I'd suggest you kill a ton of gobbies first on Kunark. I believe Firiona Vie has a whole faction of its own.

I am working on my sham no. 6 quest and need Drixie dust from a Friona Drixie. I have killed 100's of these nasty critters (approx 10 total now) and have yet to have the dust drop! Can anyone confirm for me if they have ever gotten any dust off of these guys?

what can you kill, low-mid 20's to gain faction with FV and the Drixies?

I killed 500 goboes in WW and am now non KoS in FV and the Dixies, they are btw on the same faction as the rest of FV/ guards

Ive heard that if ya go after a lot of goblins either in lake of I'll omen ( or probably other places) you gain faction with Drixies, but I'm not shure about the gueards of FV

Goblins or Sarnaks in Kunark zones or pirates in Ocean of Tears all raise FV faction, which includes almost everything in FV, definitely including the guards - I'm not sure about the drixies, though.

They saved my life! I love this little guys! If it hadn't been for these guys, I would have been a lunch for a nasty spider person. Death to spiders, Long live the DRIXIES!

22 paladin running for his life to guards from those dreadful spiders...bam drixies hits you for some high amount, all I know is that if drixies and spiders hate each other why did they attack me and not spider?? Drixies dont aggro on me if i run by them only when attacked by something

In close combat, Drixies damage around 48-58.
But range attack blast 285 HP !
If u agro one and do not want lose faction with FV city, bring it to a spider, and pray for spider attack drixie... Drixies and spiders are KOS together.
Care ! don't run too fast : range attack from drixies are deadly. Always keep it at close combat distance... And hope for u resist roots.

Drixies are allied to Firiona Vie city.
FV city is dedicated to Tunare godess. All ennemi of Tunare are KOS to Drixies.
Wolf form is also KOS to them, even Tunare followers...

Was going to run from FV to Ill Omen. Wolf formed, then superior camoed myself. I made it past the guards on the bridge, but as I was running by these on the beach they saw through my camo and killed me. I don't have any problem when I'm not a wolfie.

the drixies share faction with FV, don't kill them or they won't help you. If you're loved by fv they help - guess eq ai's gotten better

I'm a Human Warrior and I've gone through this zone and right under these drixies, and from what I've read they can see invisible, and I was invisible at the time, but they conned indifferent, but I heard that was a miscon and that they would aggro me anyway, now I'm all confused on these things ;)

I am a level 22 Warrior and was returning to town from the lake, All the sudden I found my self rooted and getting hit for 68-70 points of damage, Out of nowhere a Drixie chased off Spider Boy and I was saved. One more hit and I would have been collecting a corpse. I say leave the Drixies alone.

Well I wouldn't say that they are guards, just that they really hate spiders and most other things that are evil, me for one :( so in a sense they act like guards cos they share the same faction with FV

I have never had a problem wiht these little fellas im a barbarian shaman and was hunting in ill omen for a long time . they were just pretty guides to the zone . I must have god faction with them because I never killed any good creatures ever . Sometimes its hard to play the good guy but in this case wooot to me and my honorable streak .

I'm a wood elf druid and the drixies weren't KOS to me. It conned indifferent. I wonder if its the same with all druids and rangers.

They are friendly to all good races/classes, im a half elf bard and KOS to druids (killed too many treants) and they judge me amiably

Try getting KOS's by it twice when you're trying to run through the zone.
