Took my 22 BST to E.K. last night to hunt Crag Spiders for exp. and silk. When I saw my first Undead Reaver I had to get a better look! These things are so ugly it's great!
To my 22 BST. they conned light blue, and hit for around 15-25 points per. At 30% they start ed to run, but with the pet after them they don't get far. Loot: So far it's averaging high silver to low gold with an occasional precious stone (jasper, etc.) No worries about the War Wolves for me though. As a Vah Shir who has never killed any wolf I am "Amiable" to them! (Side note: The Gorge Hounds are on a different faction so I can kill them all day)
I almost wet myself when I saw this thing O_O I dont remember what it conned to me, but it was green. I started to kill it then all the sudden war wolves came in and started to hit me. in the end I had to use avalanche ^_^;;;
I journeyed into EK and found the undead reaver to be a nice hunting object as is the alive reaver . Both were dark blue to me at lvl 21 . I was using a Blackened ******* sword which is a 2hs weapon so I could bring up my skill lvl . At lvl 21 1/5 it was at skill 81 and since I have just hit lvl 22 its up too 92 skill lvl . Hiting for double 48 comes in handy . At master I will swith back to my 1hs where I'm at master skill and work on it . When attacking the undead reaver I would pull it away from the area it was at and let it chase me so I wouldn't agro any of its friends and I would pull with a bow and arrow and try and get off a extra shot as I ran back . Sometimes I would fight with my sword when runing backwards to get in a few extra hit before full melee took place. Also I had a gorge hound agro on me when fighting the undead reaver once in a while , I would finish off the undead reaver and then take out the gorge hound to end it . Never had any trouble with dieing so far , also I used a bow to pull so I could save mana for emergencies . The undead reavers I killed dropped some gold and silver , not much of by the way and a rusty weapon or so , same for the standard reaver also . Gorge hounds and dark stalkers dropped some meat and a few rusty weapons also not much , but the exp was not bad about 1/3 to 1/2 blue per kill . I spent about 3 - 4 hours in EK so far soloing . Also exp was for all mobs mentioned . reavers are now light blue and I will move up to crag spiders next , I do have a poison buff and a poison cure , but if a cleric is in the house I won't mind grouping with him to be on the safe side and the crag spider is still dark blue to me and I will bring my Magi who's at lvl 19 over here for the slauter . I plan on staying for a few more lvls as my main is a druid who I'm resting for the moment . I hope this helps some of the fighters . The only time I've been in EK was to hunt HG's with my druid and mostly just passed through it . Looks like a good area for up to mid 20's , then I might go to Luclin for adventureing . Take care and stay safe Friends . And Oh , by the way the loot I was comparing to was from hunting HG's , didn't mean to sound like the drops were not tht good.

what do these things drop? like, what is the amount of money you get when you loot the corpse, and what kind of items do you get? i plan on going there... wonder if i am too high for it... and the comment about the death beetles... i hate those things...
Here is much better because in HH the gnolls usually hit harder and are harder to seperate. I found that these gnolls hit for less and are easier to split, they also drop better stuff.Also if your in HH the only really thing u can solo are the gnolls but here you can solo many other things eg: carrion spiders,war wolfs

I camped these guys with a druid before, they spawn regularly around the hill in the NE corner (roughly) If you get close to there you will see them running around this one large evenly shaped convex hill with many other canine creatures. The undead reavers come out at night mostly, seems they spawn faster if you keep killing all the regular ones around there. Night time around there is much more dangerous. Also the undead ones have much higher magic resist.

To that I would have to say that EK would be better because the whole camped area thing is less prevelent and spawn if faster, not to mention on a lesser scale that the things worth picking up off them are light items such as words runes and gems mainly stackable
Mylvl 15 pali and a lvl15 ranger were hunting reavers last night and everynow and then one of these would join in. I would just ast spook undead on them until we killed the reavers and then we would fight these. They con yellow to both of us.
I agree the levels are off as stated. In my experience, undead reavers were ALWAYS higher level than their living kin. I would say shift the levels up 3 and it would be right.
That is correct I am currently hunting these with my lvl21 ranger and the con high blue usually. A little bit higher level that what they have listed. Good hunting.

I was climbing up the road to high pass for the second time in my life. After the first time I assumed there were never any mobs up there. Well I ran into this guy who was a hard blue (I'm 17) but managed to take him down, being a Paladin helped. He dropped Raw-Hide Gloves. If I didn't have Ward Undead he might have bested me. Also he resisted it once or twice.
Yup...these guys are like the death beetles of Unrest. They con indifferent unless you are fighting...if they get within a certain radius of you fighting something, they will join in.
Some war wolves also join the ranks of the undead...they came when our fellow, Joktan, pulled 2 undead reavers. They conned only blue to me (lvl 14 druid), but they sure livened things up a bit. Reavers are good xp and drop decent loot.
