Priest Amiaz  

I need to kill the priest to get the wand for my monk. I am a 35 warrior, will I run into any trouble trying to kill him? Will there be any other spawns int eh room and are they difficult?

does this wand have an effect..... i could u an item witha spell attaced to it (limitless charges)

I actually picked up the Blackened Wand from an Orc Apprentice at Orc 1 in EC as my monk. I'm pretty sure this is never supposed to happen, but it made me pretty happy as Befallen beats me down because I don't know any high level clerics or the like. Now I just need the Sapphire of Souls to drop here as well. )

I was down in his room looking waiting for the Vortex Weaver to spawn. 2 hours 2 priests 2 blackened wands. So, yes, he does still spawn.

When I was in Befallen with my Ranger, the Priest was almost always on my track screen. This happened for about a week. Then he was gone for a while, but then he was back again. Maybe it's just my server, but he doesn't seem very rare. The thaumaturgist on the other hand...that can be a long wait.

I don't know what you guys are talking about all of the special chars in befallen are rare spawns...I hunt it often and i am able to clear the entire dungeon before the special chars spawn again and even then most of the time their PL's spawn instead.

i was there for 3 hours. the thauma spawned like 6 times, everytime she had the dagger. too bad its lore. everytime she had the thaumaturs robe and once she droped the damask robe. the priest didnt show up once during the 3 hours.

There are 3 spots in the room he spawns in. The central spot is where the Thaumaturgist spawns, the one by the spikes is where generic befallen creatures spawn, and the one to the left(upon entering the room) is where the Priest spawns. There is a 19 minute timer on all 3 of the spots, and the 2 important spots have place holders(random befallen mobs). I camped the Thaumie last night for about 3 hours and she didn't pop, and the Priest spawned 2-3 times. Even so, he was fairly rare. The goss robe only drops VERY rarely, the dagger of Marnek also drops rarely. Th Blackened Wand is common(or possibly always dropped).

The wand is part of a sash quest for monks. The wans, and a sapphire from najena make up marneks wand.
