I have been camping him for over 20 cycles now and the only Champion to pop has been A Kobold Champion which isn't in the zone NPC list. Is this the same guy I need to be camping or is the named as elusive as the Solusek Kobold King? The Rogue Epic needs to be revamped I.M.H.O.
Been in these rooms for 3 days now. Seen several Kings but only one Champion. King did drop the Rog epic sword...

been camping this guy and the king for about 12 cycles for rog epic, but so far, both have popped twice, and both times with no swords.

For those of you that don't know what the Cycle is, I just timed it today. 1 Cycle appears to be about 23 minutes, for PH or named, whichever spawns first.

The Kobold Champion spawns in the royals area, next to the Kobold Advisor. He does have a PH, so he's not a guaranteed show.
Hits for 93 max.
In 6 cycles, the Champion popped three times for me, so he doesn't appear to be very rare.
Each time, he dropped the Shield of the Slain Unicorn.
He also dropped the following caster research, which should be included in his loot list for completeness:
Flame of Vox
Rune of Embrace

Well, this mob is really not a champ against a 45+ paladin heh heh...but some information:
Only place I've ever seen him spawn is at Royals, in the same room with the Advisor (this is the far-right of the 3 tunnels). He's packing the PIERCING shield of the slain unicorn every time I've dropped him. Have yet to see the sword.
No Magic Resists to speak of, and can be single pulled at 49+ no problem. One of those quick stop-take downs if you happen to be in the zone. Since no one has posted on this in almost a year, thought I'd update ya...

On Torv and most like many others the camp spot for this guy and the two others is called KPC. (King, Preist, Champ) The champ spawns in a large room near the lava whenever he feels like it. I'm an enchanter and for those of you are one or have grouped enough with one then you know how easily we can die. If you don't like being doubled for high numbers several times I say that you med on a wall and away from that cliff that overlooks the lava. I died very fast from this **** once before.

I just got this sword and its nice the aoe on it does not really reach far and the proc so far that I have seen was almost 40 (39 to be exact)

Well thats really interesting because you cant
bash with this item at all..Its a piercing
weapon. You can SLAM if you a large race while
wielding this weapon but BASH...no..sorry.

Beware when using this weapon in areas where mobs can be close by (walls, underneath), otherwise you will know how it got its nickname ).

I was just in a group camping him. Unfortuneatly we didn't kill him because he was pulled along with 5 other kobolds and at that time the enchanter went linkdead. He hits for around 70 rapidly and has approx 2851 - 2871 hitpoints. Hope this helps.

I have to say this guy needs some revamping or something cause this room sorry to say SUCK THE BIG ONE! everytime i am in there looking for a group i get called to that room, i never want to go there the only thing this room should be is a room for pulling, his loot SUCK and he is hard enough to kill that you would Scream... REVAMP THE STUPID ROOM!!

I camped it for 10 hours and finally got one 8) at lvl 23... not as crazy as doing it at lvl 1 but at least i could take some hits. the best thing about it is not its stats... it looks awesome!

Painbringer stats are 7 dmg 24 delay, magic, lore, no drop, Effect: Word of Pain 30 dmg or so AOE spell.
