A sly looking Dark Elf turns to address you. 'Come to me, young Cleric. I am Perrir Zexus. Read the note in your inventory and hand it to me so that you may begin on the path of the Cleric True power can be yours should you have the will to train hard enough!'
Newbie dark elf clerics find a Tattered Note (identifies as "Guild Summons") in their inventory, which reads:
The Priests of Innoruuk embody the very essence of Hate. Join them at the Spires, and help their cause. Take this note to the High Priest Perrir Zexus, he will begin your training.

Perrir Zexus says 'Welcome, child of Hate. I am Perrir Zexus, High Priest. We all draw power from the very source that created us, the will of Innoruuk. Here, put on this tunic. It is the tunic of our guild. Once you are ready to begin your training please make sure that you see High Priest Alexandrian, she can assist you in developing your hunting and gathering skills. Return to me when you have become more experienced in our art, I will be able to further instruct you on how to progress through your early ranks, as well as in some of the various [trades] you will have available to you.' You say, 'What trades?'
Perrir Zexus says 'I thought you might be one who was interested in the various different trades, but which one would suit you? Ahh, alas, it would be better to let you decide for yourself, perhaps you would even like to master them all! That would be quite a feat. Well, lets not get ahead of ourselves, here, take this book. When you have finished reading it, ask me for the [second book], and I shall give it to you. Inside them you will find the most basic recipes for each trade. These recipes are typically used as a base for more advanced crafting, for instance, if you wished to be a smith, one would need to find some ore and smelt it into something usable. Good luck!'
You receive Tradeskill Basics : Volume I.
You say, 'What second book?'
Perrir Zexus says 'Here is the second volume of the book you requested, may it serve you well!'
how does a troll shaman do the quests with this guy. ive tried the letter quest, skull caps, ammys nothing but i feel your hate grow or something along that line. i do worship innoruuk anyhelp would be great
If your faction is not very good. You could go behind the shaman guild in Grobb, behind the throne, there is a Dark elf girl there. SHE will ask you to take a letter to this guy, he is her brother. I am 99.9% sure this will increase your faction (I simply have yet to turn in the letter... yet) - I am sure he will love you some more. and im SURE its ment for trollies to do.
I myself am struggling with this. I DO remember the girl back behind the lava priest like guys. and this girl. she lookes like a DE bard. I think this is the girl 'Saxsarivza Zexus' everyone is talking about, Hense, same last name. Anyways, now she is hiding out in the Freeport tunnels. I dont know if they are like Qeynos sewers, I pray not. So I guess you hail her (once I find her I might bind myself there) and then get a note for him. As a Shammy after 9 at least you have sow, and at 19 you have shrink. so its not too bad to muck around in tunnels and the stinky Dark elf city.
REBUILD OUR KINGDOM EQ !!!!
I say we take Freeport. let the Hoo-manz live with the fur-feets.
I need to know how get Priests of Innoruuk faction up to actually be ABLE to do the quests you have mentioned for Innoruuk faction. Any clue? BTW i am a Necromancer of Cazic-Thule
In Grobb in back area of Shaman Guild, hail Savarixsa, and say "yes devoted to Innoruuk", and she will (might depending on faction I suppose) give you a letter of recommendation to give to her brother, Perrir Zexus.
Update - This NPC has been moved and renamed. SHe is now named Saxarivza Zaxun (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=13650) and she is located in the underground cleric's guild in East Freeport. If you hail her, she will ask you if you are a follower of Inuuoruuk. Saying "I am a follower of Innoruuk." will result in her giving you a letter of recomendation to hand in to Perrir Zexus (above). WHen you do so, he will thank you and offer you a quest to collect halfling raider skullcaps (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2898) which you can turn in again and again for faction, XP, and change. The faction hits for both quests are:
+King Naythox Thex +Priests of Innoruuk -Clerics of Tunare -Priests of Life -Priests of Marr -Primordial Malice
Once you are amiable, if you are a shaman or cleric of Innoruuk, you can start the symbol quests.
