First of all, Tayla was a half breed ***** captured and then enslaved into the ***** house... and that was just fine with 989 Studios, but along came some guy who happened to be a fantasy writer and he did a piece on her trials and tribulations and all of a sudden he had Sony lawyers up his ***. All he did was write about the situation THEY created, but since it's their game they dont dig on people making their own creative juices out of it. He didnt sell it mind you, just write some stories and post them... but that pissed off the lawyers. In the end, he refused a free account and accepted to take down his story about the slave *****, and because of the publicity (oops!) Sony made 989 Studios take Tayla out of Neriak.

Her quest is now fixed (as of 2003). Talk to Mare X'lottl (sp) about her and she says she was lost in a gambling game. Give her a 'jasper' and she hands you a trinket. Give the trinket to Tayla in Cabilis East, and you get a note. Bring the note back to Brohan Ironforge in Qeynos for your reward.

This quest was removed from game quite some time ago, it was broken since the release of the game.

theres a lvl 25 "half elf maiden" locked behind a door in cabilis. You can use a glitch in the wall to get into it. she has no faction or loot and doesn't respond to anything. looks just like tayla. maybe its a quest or something
If she is related to qeynos guild, wouldn't i be kos to her inside neriak?

It says she is a quest NPC? So I was curious as to what quest. I have only encountered her once, and thought it rather odd that a half elf was in Neriak so being rather aggressive and hoping no one would aid her I attacked her. Well no one will aid her and I am not sure of her level she was very green to me she began to retreat after the first few attacks of the fight. But again all I really wanted to know is what quest she is for (not like she would even speak to me after my assault on her)

Havent seen her there, and have been camping Ratraz for a couple of days now. I think I heard they moved her to Kunark or something along those lines. Anyone else got info on her?

Indeed, it seems Tayla Ironforge does not appear there anymore...at least not for a few months. Maybe they will reinstate her or something...

Well, I was hunting Ratraz the other night, and wanted to pull Tayla as I was FM well before the troll respawned. But to my surprise, she has disappeared and I was there a good hour or two and no Tayla

Her faction is mainly negative with "good faction" from Qeynos, though I believe CoalitionofTradefolk is in there as well.
She is a good alternative to camping the bard in Freeport, though her loot is not nearly as nice.
She is also part of a quest that begins in Qeynos with her father Brohan Ironforge.
