shard is for a caster quest for a 1hb with a very cool graphic.clr dru sham nec wiz mag i think. i have been doing the slayer on the hill since i cant pull from the 3 without gettin my *** handed to me.hope he doesnt take to long to spawn from the single mob.it seems to be a 10 min spawn or so

This guy is a joke with cler-bot. I think I finished him with 10000/13000 mana left. I should've made some popcorn while I killed him, that might've made it more interesting. Next time, one hand and blindfolded. Dropped shard.

Solo'd this dude for a cleric today (he sat back and watched as I did all the work) with my 75 shaman...was fairly simple, root add then VP root the other add take the named and root him then simply dot and re-root the adds once again when the root breaks and bam done.
Had him pop today to the East of the wizard spires in Icefall.
Loc was 2268, 652
Placeholder is one of the three nightmoon slayers at that spot.

really easy kill... soloed him...
pulled him, he slapped me...
WS + Alpha Wolf + Auspice +epic click + chain nuke...
When WS dropped, I popped spirit wolf and clicked a HoT potion...
commenced chain nuking... at 20% he began to run
never had to cast a heal.. but did get slapped 3 times... and yes he slaps hard :)

I dropped him with a Druid and necro today. Not a hard fight at all. He never removed snare...but he did cast 4K dd that I could not resist...it stuns too.
I just soled him. I had been pulling regular orcs for over an hour so I did not even realize it was him until he first casted on me and my HP went down. Of coure in goes pet and he ate pet quick! Luckily I stayed away from him so when I did get stunned, I was able to recover before he got to me. Each time he hit me with nuke I was able to respond with a lifetap. The "slap in the face" hit each time for 3120 and I was able to resist 2 of the 6 stuns.
He did clear snare off once but luckily he stopped to cast on me so I had time to resnare.
Dropped Shard (woo hoo), parchment and Kobold Blood.
He spawned where the single orc is on the hill.

I found this gip just East of the Druid Ring in a little alcove tellin' lies to his bodyguards.
Tried soloing him by root/shoot.. Drifting Fog sent both his bodyguards into lala land, then pulled him with Ensnare, which landed fine. Rooted with Elddar's Grasp fine three times and my bow was singin', but...
He slapped me for 3920 from a great distance four times.. much faster than I could drink my potions. I finally gated just after the last slap, as the next one would have been fatal. He was still snared, so I could have run to zone, but it was late.
Beware the slap.

Tonight dropped Ancient Parchment (for the Toegnasher quest), black sapphire, kobold tooth (quest item), and Orcskull Cup in addition to the shard.
His place holder can apparently be any of the four kobolds northeast of the wizzy spires, either the single one or one of the three down in the little hole.

No, he doesn't summon. But he does like to dispell snare and he has some kind of spell that causes about 4k damage that he casts every 30 seconds or so.
He's a shaman.
He has a proc? .. slaps you. You have taken 4000 points of damage.
No, this is NOT a joke ...
He hit in line with the elder mammoths, though I forget exactly how much
dropped the shard both times and random other stuff each time (blue diamond first time, forget 2nd time)

Seems to drop the shard every time... I've killed him many times and he has dropped the shard every time.
