Aug is common drop, although named is a very rare spawn. Breastplates are rare drops for all the Riftseekers 1 group mobs.

Pops in the room East of Taromani and the Companion Prefect. Its the room that has An Aneuk Painwringer and An Ikaav Ruiner in it.
You sure it wasn't west of Taromani? no rooms to the east.

west of Taromani, correct - closest to the main path, room with 3 mobs, Ruiner is on the right. On the left is the other PH, Miseryfiend.
The aneuk on the left in the first room on left has never spawned Miseryfiend for me, instead you need to head up the second set of stairs and go to the room there and pull the aneuk that is on the left in that room.
After pulling the ikaav neuromancer over 20 times from the first room on left up first set of stairs, the named ikaav finally spawned, so I can confirm that it does spawn here, but is just a LOT more rare than the Prefect, Miseryfiend or Channeler.
