I didn't run into any mobs on the first floor that saw through rogue sneak/hide. Con everything to be safe.
Maestro was pretty easy for a group of 30. Only one death in the whole bunch due to lag for the healer in the group. Just keep him pinned in the corner and nuke away once down below 60% health. The fight lasted maybe 2-3 minutes, if that. He got in 3 aoe LTs on us.
Okay I'm just a typical 51 necro from Sullon Zek. Of course since it is a 3 way divded pvp server it can make raids much more the difficult. However, competance is also an issue. A certain guild I probably shouldnt mention, though I will, called "Da Bashin Iggles" tried this guy on a recent raid. Of course swimming in their own arrogance they decided that he was an easy mob and pulled him without preparing at all. Of course then the whole guild got owned within 1 minutes time. Except for me and a few others with FD survived. Fortunately one cleric camped but that just goes to show you what can happen if you dont know what the **** you are doing. His 300+ AE lifetap and 200+ double hits didnt help either.
Hey, you know what? That pull on him was an ACCIDENTAL AGGRO. Maybe you should actually post your name and not anon. So, what guild ya from, Infeste Nex?
Maestro is weak, Weaker than I thought or we just had a good group of raiders. Went to hate, really wo any problems, first group died going in, thats expected, everyone made it to safe wall. Started kicking *** from the start, & decided to pull maestro didnt even fight him in his quarters, He dropped in less than 8 min. Loot was all bard stuff, Rest his AE, only came out of that fight with a scratch of maby 40Damng, put it this way my red bub was just a little under full. After he died his hand popped, that green to everone, we left it alone as U kill it a naster hand pops lol. Then went on to finish the raid. It was late or Inny would have been next. Fun raid, if you have people who know WTF there doing!
Either his life tap is 360 degrees or he spins while he casts, but whatever happens, be ready to get sucked if you are near him. Be ready for your first tank to go down ASAP. Have the wizzies take out the spite golem that is close to him, he goes fast, and then it is pure fighting with the Maestro. His AoE life tap has a limited range, so if you don't have to be up close...don't be. Let the tanks do about 50% of damage and then nuke him to death and call it a rap.
Caedmon Stormcaller Bard Of Saryrn Travelers of Norrath
There is absolutely no need to kill the golem while fighting the maestro. They can easily be splitted by 2 50- monks. And if your main tank went down fast, then I guess you used a ranger :P His lifetap isn't hard to partially resist and he only hits for 200ish dmg
Harmony works wonders in Hate. Such as splitting off the mobs around Maestro before you pull him.
Just keep all the healers and casters and anyone else who has no need to be nearby outta Maestro's AE range. Those with the AE range should be doing more damage than he can life tap out of them in a round. /waves bye bye to Maestro. Can do Maestro with two groups.

my guild was raiding hate, we where getting ready for this guy and someone accidentally aggroed him. I don't htink we had any deaths from maestro, but we had like 10 other mobs running around afterwards so we had a couple deaths after maestro. I forget what we dropped, but it was a fun raid. I got my first piece of apothic.
LOL there is no way this guys is even remotely close to innoruuk in difficulty. He was pulled on the camp today without any warning, we took him down without any trouble. Innoruuk would have slaughtered us even if we were prepared.
Sanaddar Ghostwalker 54 Enchanter of Domination Erollisi marr
Killed Maestro today with 4 groups of 46-55 people, most of them 49-51, only had one death, the chanter that was runing our tank, and she died right before he started running. All he dropped was Evensong... last time we killed him it was just the eru pally shield... for a guy who's supposedly harder than innoruuk his loot isnt close to as good.
A little trick to take down the Maestro: his aoe lifetap only affects the people in front of him, not behind him. One warrior moves in and attacks and taunts, then the rest of the tanks move in TO THE BACKSIDE of the Maestro. He will only be able to lifetap one person and not heal himself very fast.
He is also extremely magic resistant, but fire spells work nicely.
Alright then, we fought this ***** today and he was....fun! Yeah easy as hell, he doesn't have this AoE drain anymore (I actually never fought him before) actually he sucks now as much HP as he hits you for, he hit me for 198 and the same time I gote "you feel your life force drain away" message, he's cake, ugly, but cake. Oh he dropped the crap egghead wimp shield ; P

Ouch, that has just gotta suck. For the ****** who told you to stop posting, you are definitely not one to talk. Too many times has Verant had some glitch they coulda fixed. Whoop that b**** next time ya see him, my friends owe him big time!
The Hate raid I attended defeated Meastro! I can only suggest that 5 or more groups is neccesary to safely defeat him. It really helps to have a high to equal number strong 50+ melees to casters. Whenever deciding to take the Meastro be certain to be well buffed and very well organized. Organization is probably the must important factor of them all on such a raid. Also, have the main assist (assumingly 55+ warrior) taunt the Meastro and him/her only. Have all others assist. He often double attacks around 200 to 250 damage range. And lets not talk about the area of effect harm touch. When preparing for Meastro, clear the larger main room or hall and nearby rooms of all pulls. This should be obvious, but do so to ensure a safe single pull of the Meastro. Have the casters sit near BUT NOT ON the throne to the back of the main room or hall. the melee classes move forward and to the left towards the middle. Wait for the monk to pull the meastro and then the fun begins... After several failed attempts at the Meastro it is wiser to step back and wait for the proper heal from your in-group cleric then to die in combat if u can avoid it. Beating the meastro relies on the constant beating away at his hps not 20 melee dying as quickly as they can. Good luck to all and dont be surprised if he only drops the two bard weapons and nothing else.
3 groups low-mid 50's can take this guy out ok. Melee to 50% then unload nukes. Have done him a few times like this and suffered 0-2 deaths per slaying.
Too bad according to the item info the shield is only usable by erudite palies (could this be true? i mean this would REALLY **** off the vast majority of palies).
The Stalwart Sheild is Erudite Paladin only. And, considering its effect, I would say it is justly so Erudite paladin only, I mean, can you imagine an eru pal wearing one of these named Blind Guardian?
We killed the Maestro of Rancor today and estimate his new level after patch to be 56 or 57. After he was killed a miniture hand spawned out of the corpse called Hand of Maestro. It conned green to me at 51 and was easily killed. The Maestro dropped two Six Note Blades and the Hand of Maestro dropped...well...the Hand of Maestro :) Maestro of Rancor is now fairly hard to kill and is not nearly as easy as the previous version of himself. Needless to say, most of us on the raid were dissappointed that he only dropped two Six Note Blades, but what can you do? :)

Ok, I'm a 53 troll warrior with decent equipment and was buffed to just over 3khps, and had decent resists also. Got owned in seconds. This fella double struck multiple times for 255, had a DS of 169 and was lifetapping me for 300. I lasted maybe 6-8 seconds. He then proceeded to kill all the other melees that were behind him, including the 58 Pally that was with us. Our casters did manage to finish him off with only a couple of additional deaths. Dropped the bard sword.
The Maestro has been changed a bit, in regards to the warrior epic. When Maestro goes down, The Hand of Maestro will spawn. This was green at 46, and is a pushover. Its a really cute little hand with a bracelet and ring, and dies really easily. Our party was laughing about this as we killed him... until it died. Cuz that's when "a very unpleasant hand" spawned. HUGE hand, was yellow to a 54, and caused a lot of pain. Also, we were unprepared because we took on the greenie rght after the Maestro, and our healers were LOM. We took him down, and one of our warriors got the hand for his epic, but I was one of the ones who had to wait around for a res. ;) Learn from our mistakes! The greenie is a trick! :)
We killed the Maestro today and that little cute hand spawned, but after it died nothing else did. One of our warriors looted the little cute hand for the Hand of Maestro and that was it. I'm glad we didn't get to see your big nasty hand.
Ummmmmmmmmm... because haste is the best way to increase your dmg output, and there are lots of haste items of varying percentages. Not all haste is the same. If you have a CoF (36% haste) or other similar haste item and this one is say 20%-25%, you would wan't to keep your cloak instead.
