wtf. Killed an officiator 28 times so far. This is the last mob i need for the serrated silvery key. Maybe the ph has to be killed at a specific time or a specific task needs to be done first in order to get this named mob to spawn. EDIT: 31 ph. I decided to just give up. Came back to see if this mob would be up nearly 2 hours after many zones crashed in Everquest. Did an /up and saw the zone was up for less then 2 hours. Of course the ph was up and not this mob. Came to this zone within 10 minutes after the patch today and of course this mob was not up. Yet again it was just a placeholder. Oh well. Some day i will get this mob. Have druid tracking zone too just in case this named mob could be up at the same time as "an officiator". I need 3 of these keys too. wtf. Oh well.
EDIT: When the servers came back up after an "emergency patch" i came to this zone to see if she was up since i had given up actively camping her.. Got lucky. She was finally up when i zoned in. She dropped 3 keys too. So i won't have to deal with her 2 more times.

poped on 20th ph.. at about 12min per repop was total of @ 4hrs to get named
This mob also drops tome of bloodseeker's axe looted today

When you're camping this key you can sit on the balcony that this mob spawns on and other mobs won't attack. you can sit next to em and beg to get skill up for the other key.

Been farming the Officator for its tongue, I see this mob spawn maybe every 15 or so kills. Twice in one day so far. If you stay on the platform with her you will get no adds unless she summons. (Oh yes she does) in which case its like an AE summon and all the close by mobs are warped to you.
Easy duo with uber necro and druid. Druid alone is a dicey fight with the toe to toe fight but doable with all my druidly tricks.

Just wondering how rare of a spawn this thing is. I've killed upwards of 30 placeholders and nothing.
He dropped 3 keys for us. Gimp sucker. Shaman + Wiz duo. If decent geared any class could solo this one.

In north of zone there is this arena looking place. He is looking out over the "arena" from north. Go around through lower area of jail and you will see him. Can invis to very close, kill some trash and then pull/kill him.

***** this mob right in the face. I camped this snake hag for hours. I went through about 50ph's, but it was the last thing I needed before I got my first aug, so it was worth it. Me(70 war) and my alt necro(70) were up on the ledge where she spawns. All we did was kill the PH's and the one single mob that pops in that corner. If you look in the pic above, she's actually down in the arena. I was up where she spawned, never moved an inch and was able to keep both spawn points clear of mobs/ph's. GoOD LUCK WITH THIS ONE!
Still haven't seen this mob.. and actuall started at 7-8am this morning its now 1:44 am.. so guh.. longer then 17.. anyway.. All officiator ph's.., oh and the begger chick(inadi) or whatever.. you say /say please.. and she says pretty much you rock and here is this shiny thing.. then no key appears in your hand or backpack etc.. so i got double screwed today.. Gonna try for 3rd and hand in my 25k.. yippie.. anyone else have this problem?

We killed with a group of 6, 60-65. 2 Paladin, 1 Cleric, 1 Bard, 1 Shaman. Easy as cake. Killed all the mobs around and she spawned as we were going to leave. Dropped the cloak.
Indeed easy pull if you pull from other side of arena and drop down. Make SURE you're out of LoS of the guards behind you tho.
Slowed her with a 54 shammy. Once that was done it was pretty much over. Tank was 65 paladin and I don't think he was healed once the entire fight, finishing around 50% health.
One thing, I landed every single spell as a 65 necro (fire, splurt and Poison dots) but when she was at 10 % she turned to run. I tried to snare and got 4 resists, not immune message, just resists. IF I could get her snared early I know I could have soloed her.

I'm sure this is what the Druids and Necros who solo have done, but since no one has mentioned it might be helpful for people to know you can pull her from the opposite side of the arena, just get close to edge away from 2 guards and the mobs in the stands and your money. Pull while standing on edge with snare/slow whatever, then drop down into pit and she'll warp down there with ya with no adds except her 30 second pet you can root or I usually just FD and wait for it to go away.
Very easy to solo if you land snare on first attempt, generally recast around 40-50% health and shouldnt have any problems, I use BoT, Horror, kelador, and saryn on her takes about 2-3 casts of each or so and shes dead. If you have suspended minion makes it even easier since you can have him suspended until pet goes away and then add some extra dps.
Like other guy noted like all snake/insect people she casts the Reflect spell around 30% I think, I used anul magic and it went poof was really easy after that, though I died first time fighting her without anuling when Saryn's and Kelador reflected back on me, gotten damn back item 4-5 times, boots once, gloves once

Killed her twice tonight.
She seems to mitigate all melee and spell damage by 50%. Both the melee and casters (and melee with nuke proc weapons) commented on the fact they were doing alot less damage.
She summoned one of those AA style 60 second pets (just one of them) which was easily mezzed and poofed after the 60 seconds were up.
She's also able to cast the spell line that reflects spells back onto their opponent (which our druid found out when she ended up getting snared).

This is a buff that these snakes have. Dispell it and DPS should go up.

She was pretty easy for a named mob. Definately one groupable. She's an enchanter mob and did some dispells and attempted a few others, but our resists were very high (yay bard!) so I don't really know what she was casting. She hit about 800ish and didn't rampage or enrage or enrage. She had about 50% more hps than the regular mobs in that zone.
The trouble with her is the wanderers. There are no less than 6-7 mobs that wander up her hallway and you will have to kill them all first, which means it takes time to get to her. If you engage her before you have killed the wanderers, be prepared to deal with them.
She dropped the Director gaunts. Yay me!

We Dropped it easily with a level 65 group.. had a Back item on it as well.. very nice item.. But I do not know the stats.. i would say seing all the other items you listed ,, it would probably be a rare.. for CLR DRU SHm

She is not an officer.... She is an officiator meaning the is overseeing the events in the coliseum. Like a ref in football.
