Just a small correction for the admins. Enameled Blackened Bracer (with 360 hp + 350 mana etc) is assigned as a drop for the wrong version of froglok tactician. Should be on the higher level version. Cheers!

Do the mobs follow the PC's cast times for spells?
I know Grav Flux is an 8 sec cast and if so, you have plenty of time to stop his cast, especially if you have a chanter chain stunning him. I can usualy completely stop normal wizzy's casts when I chain stun, haven't tried this guy tho.

Being the Lower Guk veteran that I am, I have provided the following info on this happy little critter:
1. He's a Wizzie. Means he can cast my favorite spell, Gravity Flux.
2. Gravity Flux is FUN, dammit.
3. Drops the Black Tome w/ Silver Runes (4 int, 30 mana, Prime Hand only, not a weapon, Pure Casters only) common and a Platinum Tiara, (Ac 3 35 Hp 50 mana) rare.
4. Spawns at the side of the heavily guarded Froglok King. Makes any fight a fun one.

Actually enchanters get gravity flux and they get it a whole 5 levels before those stinking wizzies do.
However, NPC enchanters don't seem to cast it. (Why bother when you can have 6 PC pets ?)

Black Tome with SIlver Runes is dropped by Najena in Najena as one of her many drops.
It drops of this guy as well, but it is this guy's common drop. tome is najena's rare drop.

This single mob is the only reason I mortally hate the Gravity Flux spell, he will cast it once atleast if you give him the chance, and being bounced around walls in that room is not fun.

GFlux is no big deal. It is easily neutralized with levitate. Its especially easy if you have a Bard in your group. They just start the levitate song as soon as he spawns and everyone is protected.

Any bard worth his salt wouldn't be singing levitate in a combat in this room. He would be singing songs to add to resist buffs, with a mez ready to interrupt casting. Why twist in a song to counteract one particular spell, when you can twist to counteract them all?

the tactician casts force shock (2.8 seconds) and shock of lightning (2.2 seconds) and sometimes force strike (5.5 seconds).... all bard songs have a 3 second casting time, so a bard wouldn't be able to interrupt force shock and shock of lightning... and by the time he's finished casting force strike, your warrior should have bashed already....
also, you fight the tactician, and everything else that spawns in the king room, in that little hallway with the shallow roof, so you won't take any fall damage anyway. (oh look, I fell a foot and a half) so levving would just be stupid... I guess you could do it if you want, but....

Don't let this guy get too may nukes off, you'll be in a world of hurt. At level 49 with around 1300 HP at the time after HP buffs. One nuke from this guy took about 3 bubbles of health away. Chain stun this bad boy.

Spawns in the Froglok king room, top left ledge facing from the throne. Drops the Black tome w/silvery rune(najena's rare drop). Rare drop is the platinum tiara.

I believe he also casts some druid spells.
