A Deadly Lava Drake  

This mob spawned in place of one of the lava drakes in Veeshans Peak, specifically in place of the back one that is reached by taking a left after the second bridge (counting the one right as you zone in as the first), and then taking another left at the split. There are two "lava drake" here, the one in the back being the one that we found the deadly drake at. We were here approximately two hours and only saw the deadly drake once. It only hit for 560, but it is a wizard class, complete with Sunstrike and Ice Spear of Solist (Only hit me once, but had the 65 druid resist buff on). Nearest we could tell, it also had about 20k hp, same as the normal lava drakes. In fact, the only difference we saw was that it was level 61 instead of 60. It dropped the Lavastone Ring for us (for which there is a link at the top of the page), and we don't know if it only spawns here, or if it pops in place of any lava drake (We didn't venture in any deeper, so I don't know if there are any other drake spawn locations in VP). I reccomend camping these two drakes, not for the ring but for the spell drops as well (we scored Sunstrike, Malo, Torpor, Avatar, and Flaming Sword of Xuzl from these in a space of about two hours). The spawn time on the normal drakes that are this PH appear to be 15 minutes.
