The Stone Ring

Trigger: Kill all of: 2 x A Crumbling Stone Mass", 2 x "A Rock Creation", 2 x "A Pile of Boulders", 2 x "A Boulder Thrower".

Phase One to Five: About 50 "A Stone Fortification" will spawn. These can be pulled in bunches and AE'd.

Phase Six: Four "A Mound of Rubble" will spawn. When low on health, these mobs become suddenly resume full hit points and disengage from combat, walking back to their platform. Be careful not to accidentally kill any. When the 4th one begins walking back, "A Rock Monstrosity" will spawn and immediately charge the raid.

Phase Seven: Kill "A Rock Monstrosity", but be ready for more fighting immediately. 4 "A Stone Heap" will spawn and immediately rush the raid.

Phases Eight to Twelve: Six waves of 4 "A Stone Heap" each will spawn and rush the raid, each wave spawning when the previous 4 are all dead. If you need a break to prepare for the boss mob, you need to set aside one "A Stone Heap" and mesmerize it.. When the final "A Stone Heap" dies, Peregrin Rockskull will charge the raid.

The Boss: Peregrin Rockskull hits for 2k and may memblur himself. He uses the Pebble Rain AE, which is an easily resisted MR-based snare/DD.

Loot: Peregrin Rockskull does not drop elemental molds/patterns, but does drop 2 other EP-quality loot each time.

An encrusted Dirtcloud spawned again instead of Pelegrin. Nearly every ring event in PoE has a PH as Raidmob or something is missing.

I realize the posting by dfrnchman is three years old, but when I went to guildseofon's website and registered, I could not find a References tab nor any other way to find the Plane of Earth ring info. I realize this is incredibly old stuff, but on Al'kabor our guild is finally in the elementals (only guild there) and getting info about the earth rings would be a big help to our progression. Is there any chance the info can be linked more directly to this thread rather than through the seofon's homepage?

FWIW, the "references" link that is referred to is not a tab, it's just a link at the bottom of the page, and as of today, 12/02/2018, it's still working.
Stone Ring Boss

Peregrin is the boss mob of the Stone Ring. He is really not hard to kill with a raid force. The Red con mobs, forget the name, are much more of a pain to kill because they wander off at low hps and regen full to be pulled again. The snare is annoying but resistable and RC cures it. The tough part of this ring is splitting the progressive spawns and bringing them to camp. Generally should be able to tank 4-7 at one time with decent off tanks. Dust and Vine are the 2 harder rings. 3 of the 4 rings drop 41% haste items, some with much needed Druz Distance.

The Red Con mobs you're talking about don't wander off to be pulled again, there are 4 of them. When each one gets to 10% health, he immediately regens to 100%, becomes unattackable, and wanders back to the temple. They are significantly easier than Peregrin as they have few hitpoints and much lower damage output.

Splitting the progressive spawns shouldn't be an issue, it's much easier (and faster) just to AE each wave, a handful of druids should be able to pull this off even if you're light on wizards... and better get in that practice now, you'll need it for Coirnav.

Peregrin hits for about 2k and has the annoying AE snare, not nearly as bad as the AE root on Mud ring.

If you get an Encrusted Dirt Cloud it means the Boss was not up. All the Earth rings can be triggered hours after they were beaten but the boss will only spawn 3 days after dieing. you can't tell if the boss is up unless you do the event and see what you get.

Event is trigger, then 30ish blue mobs that can be AE'd or pulled a few at a time, then 4 red mobs that can be rooted but not mezzed, then a sub named (rock monstrosity)that is quasi beefy but can be slowed, then 5 waves of 4 smallish blue mobs (stone heap) that can be mezzed, then final named which isn't hard but is pretty beefy.

Does anyone know of any website or know on what this guy does? ie. Spells, Melee output, Adds? Or for that matter a website discussing all PoE ring encounters? The curious mind seeks knowledge.
