If anyone cares, the belt that GMs wear and looks like this is the Belt of Translocation, if my memory serves me right. By the sound of it, it would seem to have a nice effect..../grin.

Davan on Ayone Ro has one (dont look at me, wasnt my doing), but the belt is extremely rare. Maybe one or two per server on average. But there was a statement made (no idea when or who, im not a computer here ppl) declairing the PoA belts were being adjusted, and that they would be made the highest lvl haste items available (at the time). Which would put it above CoF, RBB, FBSS (=p), etc... Since they required multiple feats that were astounding if accomplished (at the time). They are still insanely great belts and are still as rare as they were before, the only thing that has chanegd is the lvl of the people cursing at the drop rates on Bzzazzt and the Noble. And if you have ever tried completing the quest for this belt, dont even TRY to tell me that killing Nagafen is comparable to all the mobs that must be killed for this quest. Does Nagafen DT ? ... no... didnt think so, Spiroc Lord does, are theyre 3 Nagafens who split into multiples after being killed ? no... does nagafen have 2 lvl 60 guards who are unmezzable ? ... <shocked> nope... not that either... So if you question the haste on this belt, and the risk/reward of the item... <scoff> attempt the quest... and learn.

Whoever thinks this stack with the CoF has their nuts in their eyes, you can have one permanent haste item on ie: CoF, FBSS BoFW u get the idea, then you can have one SPELL type haste ie: all chanter haste spells and chanter epic proc, bard songs, Eyepatch of Plunder.... that is the only way haste can be stacked, no two permanents, no two spells, if you have two permanents on, the faster one with stick, if you have two spells on, the faster one will stick, abd you can only have two haste items/spells.... CoF and Eye Patch of Plunder... BoFW and Eye Patch of Plunder... Enchanter Epic Proc and Cof... You get the idea? good, i hope, glad i probably enlightened some stupiees out there :DDD

I have heard that the haste on it is faster than a CoF. For all you n00bs who think it stacks with other haste items you are wrong. It will only stack with a Eyepatch of Plunder or any clickable haste items or a chanter/shammy haste buff, not a CoF or any other permenent haste item. I would love to have this but I doubt I will ever get it. I recently lost a roll for a CoF and will probably quit EQ, since I am a lvl 53 warrior still in Crafted. If you want to take me to Hate and get me some Indi, Leave a post:P
What is all this crap about stackable Item haste? Has anyone bothered to test this or are you just talking smack? I would like to hear from someone that has tried it. 46% belt plus CoF at 35% would be insane item haste. I would like confirmation.
No haste items stack. No haste spells or songs stack. You can only ever have one haste item and one haste spell affecting your attack speed.
That means, if you have 2 haste items, only the fastest one will affect you. If you don't believe me, take the slow one off and see if you're slower. You won't be.
That also means, only one haste spell or song will affect you. If you get Shissar and then some bard starts singing to you, you won't get any faster. You may get other effects from the song (like str or AC), but your haste will not be affected.
Note that some items have spell haste on them - like the Eyepatch of Plunder and the Monk Epic. The way you tell is, if you have to click it to activate the effect, it's spell haste. If it shows a little buff icon, it's spell haste. Otherwise, it's item haste.
Summary: you can only ever have 2 haste effects: one item haste, and one spell/song haste.
Actually, while what you said is true, for the most part. There are SOME bard songs that have their own catagory. IE: haste is: item + spell/song + special song
the special song are the ervaj line.. they are 5% and 10% (in order of level received) haste, that stack with song hastes. There is also battle cry of the vahsir, and warcry of the vahsir.. those are also songs which stack with other hastes songs.

Unless you can find a GM that actually will tell you what the percentage is, dont ramble. If your saying 46% is the haste on this belt, your saying that this has at least 10 more percent haste than a CoF and THE best haste belt in EQ, id make sure you know for sure.
Farming PoA is a cake walk with these quest items. A raid can come away with at least 5-8 completed quests after a good day, not to mention so many of the regular haste belts that we start giving them to pets...
