This takes an item that is already attuned, and make it re-attunable so that it is droppable again.

ok, heres what this does.

This does not take away the attunable item characteristic kind of how it sounds in the description.

It takes an item that is already attuned, and make it re-attunable.

So when it gets that no drop flag for being attuned, all it does it take that away so someone else can attune it to their character.

Put the no drop attuned item into the box, hit combine, BAM you can now do what you wish with it.

It just makes it not "No Drop". It will become no drop again after someone else attunes it.

Also, the box poofs after one use.

This device works just fine on attuned equipment. It only works once of course but its nice to be able to sell something you paid a fortune for and no longer need.

It does not work on the othni gear because that is just no trade.

Nice freebie.

When you say that this only works once, do you mean that it only works once on each item you want to unatune, or that it only works once and then the item is useless?

My guess it is either one charge or used up in the combine.

You are correct. It works one time. (period at end of sentence, information is complete)

If an item is only un-attunable once, is it marked in some way on the item saying that no un-attunes are left?

If only one un-attune is allowed per item and the item doesn't get a label warning, subsequent buyers could get an unpleasant surprise.

AS an example, an unsuspecting buyer could, without seller disclosure, purchase a previously attuned item in the bazaar. After they are done with it, it would poof when they attempted to un-attune it. They would be out both the sale value of the un-attuned item and the loyalty points.

That doesn't seem fair.

Are we sure an item can only be un-attuned once, ever?

The un-attuner only works once. If you got another Urthron's Ultimate Unattuner then the item can be un-attuned again.

Is there another way to un-attune items?
