Cobalt Bracer  

 

After reading a few of the other posts I figured I would be down there for a long time, I am not sure how long the time spent farming was, but I managed to get it after killing everything down there, waiting for respawn, then killing everything again. I went AFK to find something to eat, then ate it, while waiting for respawn, when I got back everything had respawned not sure which mob it dropped off of because I was just pulling a bunch then mowing them down. It dropped before I finished the entire area, kept going just cause I had already started. 66 Warrior with all the auto granted AA at the time of farming.

I agree with others - this thing is ultra rare

I would say this item is very rare to ultra rare. Been camping the Fungi tunic for 7 days now and have gotten 8 fungi tunics and finially just got a Cobalt bracer today on the 7th day after killing over a thousand Myconids.

have to wear it to click it. just drop'd off the shrooms that path around the king camp.

Been camping this is the Fungi-kings room for maybe 30 hours, non-stop killing everthing around that area, still nothing ( reminds me of camping druid arms in KC, except now I can kill 4-5 at a time ) is this that rare of a drop or is there a spot where more peeps have gotten theirs?

BtW the crap robes from the king dont even have good Trib value ( 120 I think ) and Ive seen ALOT of em :P, just wish the flowers dropped by the froggies up top dropped here too, be more worthwhile.

On the plus side at 70 I still see some light/dark blues down there so its not such a bad camp ( I just hate killin greenies that have 200 HP less then dk blues )

Ill try and make this simple. This item is invaluable as are the greaves. When your GL says get to such and such zone in 10mins SSRA for example well I prefer running through Fungus and pull out my greaves if a druid is not available for a TL so Im thinking 200p for a invis potion that adds up VERY fast.

Bracer is the same thing, it is mandatory to shrink on raids for several reasons lag one and the fact you have 50-70 people lots of big classes hell our enchanter makes half the people gnomes just to help out. BTW it is mandatory in our guild to have a shrink device/potion and invis device/potion.

My point is unlimited charges vs BUYING a device that requires recharging or buying potions. The money adds up extremely fast even though it doesnt seem like it. People complaining about the stats need to realize that this armor wasnt intended to be worn, its intended to go into your bag and pulled and for the click effect period, hence lvl 45 just to use at at lvl 45 you will have better or something is extremely wrong. You will see TIME equipped warriors carriying cobalt for these effects so please dont knock em, if you want to make your Warrior the best possible these are essential items to have and not to mention the time reduction from asking someone to come get you or switch grp to shrink you cause you ran out of potions. Imagine on a raid with 72 people and half are asking this what a cluster.... it would cause. Just my opinion. BTW I do realize the date on the some of the posts so half on the people that posted realize this now.

So at what level do the cobalt items proc?

With the placement of the shrinking device, the shrink on this bracer is not as unique. Before it was not simple to find shamen selling the shrink potions, but with the device in a bag you can have a rechargeable 20shot shrink anytime.

I would say that will make the price on this item drop a bit... but a 20ac bracer is nothing to give away for pennies...

These suckers are priceless, especially after verant's latest nerf that makes shrink usable in every zone. First good thing verant has done in, oh, a year(ish).

Uhm no. Shamans can cast shrink anywhere. Ive been shrunk in Cazic-Thule many times unless they nerfed it.

I play a troll warrior... Yes this bracer is ultra great because of the AC.... The effect is a trigger not a proc... Anyways 25AC on a bracer is great. I agree on both Sides of the coin... 1)The shrink effect on this bracer blows because of the fact of the high level to get it.... the fact that Human, Halflings, Gnomes, Half elfs, woodelfs, blah blah.. can be warriors.. and don't need shrink.. the effect should be different.. on the other side of the coin 2) Being a Troll I want this bracer even if it doesn't have any stats but shrink... Hey Verant... Happy Love Bracer... Throw shrink on that thing.. and while your at it.. Cobalt Guants and Boots... Why have to effects to cancel each other out?? how bout like summon bandages on the guants or something useful.. :) welp there ya go.. The view from an ultra-fat warrior on the shrink item.
