ok dmg bonus FAQ time. at lvl 1 whats the dmg bonus? if its one is the sword 5/20?
a looter picked up 2 of these on a tormax raid, a couple days later i asked if he still had them, looked them up and made sure they werent quest item. now my shir warrior has both of them. they look pretty cool, kind of a decorated blade, wide in the middle. they are good for lower levels for training 1hs.
For a druid, this is the fastest droppable 1hs weapon I know of, making it a wonderful weapon to max your skill with.
there are a few 19's but ya they are expensive... this is the buy im going to get shortly.

"Ceremonial" is the key word here the sword really isn't for use more for looks.
If you search for "ceremonial" in the item database, you will find that there are quite a few odd, but cool looking weapons that drop in all of the expansions. Probably the best known is the ceremonial wedding sword from ToFS.

If you need serpent sight, https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=1658 drops in Sol A if you're high enough or you can probably just BUY one in the bazaar for super cheap.

I think this is cool good for pvp so ya can see ivis then switch ta somthing thats better damage wise.

Serpent sight grants infravision, not see invis.
Tormax's two guards that stand closest to him. Is somewhat of a joke loot, is only to give the 2 guards a weapon graphic.

Still tho, if it LOOKS cool, would pair nicely with ceremonial wedding sword, just for those first impressions... Can always bring out the work tols later =)

Do they drop these everytime or just every once in a while? I always thought they dropped something better...

I always see these from KT's pets but I've also seen a sword that looks the same but was named after one of the guards. It might be a rare drop.
