I was just checkin through the list of items with amulet in the name origonally for amulet of necropotents , or however you spell it, but then cause i was board. Correct me if im wrong but the SK neck item had more INT on it and less STR. WTF is up with that??? Is SoE getting confused or something?
while u erudite necros might need more mana items, us iksar can use items like this that give lots of int and some mana so we can free up other spots. having a 110 starting int is a fair exchange for regen though =)
deadinc skellyrazor 35(almost 36) iksar necro terris thule
Having maxed INT really isn't that important for iksars either. Hps are mana, and with your regen you basically have an endless supply of both. Go for hps, get a couple high INT items, or mana items if you feel the need, and deck yourself out on hp gear.
I realize this was posted few years ago, however now days.. FT > Regen. If you can get a regen item cheaply... by all means go for it. Anything to negate lich damage is not a bad thing. However the point of lich is to give us super mana regen. You will have a lot less downtime with more FT then regen.
Here is why. Our life tap over times = all the regen we need. (and its xtra dps. not a bad deal) This is especially true of Saryrns Kiss.
Sides if we get the role of twitching for long raid battles... that extra ft means more inc mana for our clerics and less OOM!!!
For soloing more ft means less time we need to lich anyways just because we are coming out ahead.
..This is a pretty bad item, for the difficulty of the quest. The Lead bee dropped the pulsating ruby if I recall right. Did this about a year ago. I never used the reward however, but a human Necro on Ayonae does :)
All vision type of effects have no charges...they are permanent when equiped (its not a click effect)... Making it with charges would be like making a haste item with charges...
Anyways... still useless for a Necro because you either have it by default as your racial ability (seems to me that most Necros are dark elfs -at least on my server) and Ultravision is also a side effect of the Lich spells... so, pretty useless...
