This aug was introduced in the hotzone lineup that was revealed on October 30, 2007. On progression servers any zone under level 65, those hotzone augs drop when TSS is unlocked. |

Had three drop tonight in the space of 5 hours, so not too rare. One dropped fighting our way to the Undead, the other two dropped off the undead.

Have killed over 600 mobs now over 3 trips, and not a single aug... this used to drop like candy.
On the other hand, have a silverwing earring on each of my 15 alts, and still have them rotting.

Totally agree. They must've SERIOUSLY nerfed the drop rate on this thing. We used to take guildies and friends up there and get this for each player every 30 min or so. Now, I'm pl a bard, went in there and killed all night Saturday, and then again ALL day Sunday without a single drop. Went back following Tuesday and finally got one. Got my second fairly quick on Wednesday night. Didn't kill anywhere near 600 mobs like you say you did, but I know I killed over 20 Lieutenants and at least 80 guardian whatevers.
That is a stingy drop rate for as many diff mobs that drop this, and zone augs are usually not THAT rare.

Dropped for me today on Saryrn. It dropped off of one of the trash mobs at zone in next to DC pets. I've been AA xping here for about 2 weeks off and on. First one I've seen. It has a graphic. Looks like the image next to the item name at the top of this page.

Dropped tonight after about 3 hours of 2-boxing. There is definitely an image on it.

No image in-game, dropped for me after probably 400+ kills since the hotzone started. It's pretty rare.
What does this drop from? Any certain mobs or area that it seems to drop from more?

Just dropped for us tonight, image sent in too :)
This aug currently does not have an icon/graphical image in-game (confirmed when someone linked it in the game). Be sure to check all the mob corpses so you don't overlook it.

We had 2 drop last night, and can confirm that there is no graphic. If you think you've looted a corpse, but it's not rotting, double-check it for an aug.

Agreed. This aug is DEFINETLY rare. As a 75 Pally, 4k ac/18.5 hp's, self buffed, I pulled like a nut, on average 15 mobs per pull, casting WoT and smacking them down hard and fast with my Mage bot there nuking them. Did this for about 4 hours and no aug. Dropped 2 of the new rings, but no aug. If you want this aug, be prepared to camp the zone for awhile and have some patience.
Killed in HoH for 3 hours pulling like 3-4 at a time and never seen this drop.Id say its more on the rare side for now.
