Bought a Matchless Dragonhide bp for my shaman recently, it is a VERY nice twink item. everyone saying that theres better these days, or that its not worth the plat, i believe are just wrong. I absolutely love this bp and i believe its worth every penny. You aren't going to find a better bp for low levels, and it will carry you far. For the first 50 levels at LEAST until ornate it is good.
I probably overpaid for this but I almost live in bazaar and I have almost never seen one for sale. It is the best droppable BP in terms of Mana/HP/resists. It also has no level limit so its a great twink BP.
Droppable gear posts seem to be littered with how much it should sell for (much like no drop posts are about which classes should get it). How many of these have you seen being auctioned or bazaared?
I did a search for droppable BPs with emphasis on total stats, mana, and resists and there is only one item that is better and that one has a level restriction AND a recommended level.
I may have overpaid for it, but WTF is plat good for these days anyways.

A guildie passed this down to me, and it was better than my old BP by soo much. I took a -5 AC hit, but I'm a cleric. I can easily make it up with future upgrades.
And for all of you that whine about the AC (plate wearers), in Butcher LDoN's, there is a 10 AC aug - put it on your BP!! Jeez!! This is one GREAT BP until you start pulling in your ornate, and even then it ain't gonna compare to all around saves and stats. I won't be getting rid of this anyitme soon.

Saw this for 100k on Seventh today.... I almost hurt myself laughing!

Got one for 13k on Karana about 2 weeks ago. Average price on my server is about 20k. I got a deal. 100k seems like waaaaay too much these days. I'd say 20k is about right based on what's available these days.

I AGREE TOTALLY, THIS BP IS WORTH IT, ONLY CLOSE BP IS ACRLIC ONE WITH ALL THE STATS. THIS BP IS WORTH 12K TO 20K FOR SURE
Can't see why these are priced so high - I've got a BD cultural BP and it's got nearly twice the AC of these dragon BPs - the only thing they've got going for them is stats and saves?

Since only 3 of the classes listed on this are actually tanks who would give a rats @#$ about AC, maybe it's because most of the people buying this ONLY care about the stats and saves? Ya think? 90HP and 90Mana are nothing to sneeze at either.

Awesome BP, if not the best non no-drop BP in the game. Too bad the matchless set of dragon armor from Western Wastes is incredibly rare.

Oh, sure, Queen's _IS_ better if you're a plate class, however the dragonhide armor is usable by plate AND chain classes. That means this bp is definitely up there on the list of good bps for rog, shm, gar.

We had this drop from Klandicar in WW a couple times. In general, Sontalak and Klandicar (both in WW) can drop any of the WW type armor, including this BP. It's totally random.. sometimes they drop jack but their tailsman,and other times some good spells and armor drops.
Both mobs need 40+ people of lvl 58-60 if you really want to stand a chance. Both mobs can fear and high MR is needed, and even then lvl60's can get feared with 200+MR.

Just curious, what color is the graphic on Matchless Dragonhide armor? Is it the same dark blue-green as Worked Dragonhide?
Yes, all this Dragon- stuff that drops in WW is the same color...very pretty, really.

first of all it isnt a monk item because its made from a dragon, which is not leather type armor. not much WW armor can be worn by monks or any other leather wearing class for that matter. get over it and get on with life.

To change the Color and Crap you just Invert the Image and the color turns basicaly the opposite

I got my pog bp the other night :) but this is definately one of the best tradable bps I've seen... incarnadine is the only one I can think of better for melee
This has more HP than Incarnadine (which only Warriors and SK's (non Iksar) can use anyways, and factor in the Agi and Saves- and this is inarguably better. Great Bp for all listed.

In general, this is a nice BP for any of the listed classes. Hell for any class really :) But it's totally dependant upon when you're wearing in the first place.
This BP only drops from certain mobs. These mobs are all red to a 60. Mostly Gflux, CH, and Gate. DO you think the people running in there are wearing a BE bp? Nope. They likely have Trak BPs at the least, or maybe Emerald Dragonscale tunics.
It's a great raid BP for ToV and WW as it covers all the resists, has ok AC and 90 mana/hp. The fact that it's tradable instantly throws it into the "I'd pay 30K at least" range. But then again, I want a horse too.
