I heard the triv for this is actually zero, but haven't tried it myself. From the process if raising skill i had quite a few poison vials laying around.. rouges get raped when buying them from venders, so i sold the Sealed ones to him for 3pp per vial (cheap) and he mades me white lead til my heart was content.
BTW, i'm on Bristlebane and have a couple of these idols on sale. Send Vuuven a tell, also have Inny.
I am just wondering. What items are needed to make this thing? I have a skill of 164 in pottery and want to make this for my Necro. Would be a nice addition to her already high int.

I was selling idols in EC a few nights ago and was asked if I had one of these. I did not. Had never even made one. She was a dark elf enchanter who I believe was named Jemmenai. (Forgive me Jem if I butchered your name or mess any facts up...feel free to post a correction!) At any rate she had in her posession already imbued stones (she is a chanter/struggling jeweler) that she sold to me so I could actually make the thing. Further she fell into my employ to enchant some clay. (Thanks btw) I promptly and happily made the idol and discounted it for the items she had enchanted as well as for the imbued stones. By the time we were done she paid a whopping 185pp for the idol and I had restocked some supplies and also found some imbued stones that are aggravating to come by. Very nice ending for both of us.
The moral of the story and lessons to be learned are:
She was an EDUCATED buyer. She knew what her idol was and its stats before she even contacted me.
She helped obtain the imbued stones. This is no easy task and to be blunt if she hadn't she would not have an idol right now.
She was wise to allow me to "hire" her to enchant misc items such as the clay. She enjoyed a STEEP discount on her product! (That I gladly granted because not only was I willing to pay any chanter to do the job, I was doubly happy because she was a CUSTOMER as well!
In the end we scratched each others backs, I made a good friend, and made someone very happy to be one of ... maybe THE ONLY owner of a very rare item!
This is why I play EQ and why I worked so hard at my trade skill. Worth it all in the friendship and respect shared between two players.
Thank you Jemmenai for helping demonstrate how to go about obtaining a first class rare item and to do it with RARE CLASS! You are one of the few players that ever showed respect for my Trade.
Not sure about the Held Item listing, but you don't have to worship a god to make the idol. You have to worship a god to imbue the gem needed to make the idol. For example, only a Cazic Thule worshipping Shaman could imbue the Amber needed to make this idol. And, you'd need an enchanter to make the vial of clear mana, and a rogue to make the white lead needed to make the Divine Crystalline Glaze, which is used in the firing process. And, it trivializes over 200. Basically, if you ever make one of these, you are one of the privileged few. Hopefully I can be so lucky.
Erudite wizards may not, but I bet a few Erudite Necros do. And all Iksar Monks worship Cazic. Not every combination of race/class works, but every entry in the race and class list is there for a reason.
Aye, but no mages, wizards or enchanters can worship CT that are in that group of races. Erudite non-necro int casters can't worship CT and start in Paineel.
Hey uh... you need to think before ya speak. Ogre SKs worship Cazic. BTW this requires a rogue to help. With white lead and some tailored fabric. As well as a gem imbued by a Cazicite.
