Shadow Temper = 2 essence of shadows + neriak nectar + elf blood (trivial brew at 135)
This shadow temper is what makes this item rare. Yes the skill involved to make it is a pain in the gozaru to get to, but not too hard (~185+). After camping Shadowed men for the rare drop essence of shadows, and elves for HOURS, the result is 1 or 2 tempers.
Smiths who can make this, usually only make it for themselves, and maybe a friend or two. If you want some cultural armor, get the temper yourself, and you will be much more likely to find your smith to make it for you.
Just a rant about tempers. I myself am trying to make these, and have camped elves for about 6hours for 15 bloods, and shadowed men for about 2hours for only freaking ONE essense of shadows, not even enough for one temper!

Not necessarily. My skill is at 200, and I managed to make this on the first try, and legs on the 2nd. I did fail twice on the cloak, though (really wanted that, and dont want to spend 1500 on a Molten cloak...)

Are these items new to the game or new to the site?
New to the site, they've been ingame for a while, but few attempted them due to the blue diamond reagent for the enchant adamantite spell. Now that that reagent is gone, however...
Combine in the Tier'Dal Forge:
1 enchanted adamantite ring
1 silk swatch
1 shadow temper
1 tier dal smithy hammer
1 chainmail bracelet pattern
Prayer recommended.
