While 8AC is not particularily amazing, for a cloak it is reasonable for a Rogue. The statistics are perfect on this item though. Stamina is notoriously difficult to find in any quantity and extra strength, plus a few saves, is always desired. I'd cheerfully pay 5K for a cloak like this, if I had 5K to spare right now. 4K is a quite reasonable price to pay. If you disagree, feel free to drag some groups out to WW and hunt the pelts. I am sure any respectable tailor will try a combine for you at a nominal fee. Your needs follow and they are rare to expensive:
4 velium hound furs, platinum thread, cloak pattern, vial of purified mana

SURE THE THE FURS MIGHT BE TOUGH TO GET.. WELL KINDA.. BUT THATS WHAT HIGH LVL FRIENDS ARE FOR. STILL THOUGH SPIDER FUR AND HBC ARE BETTER IMO. CAN GET SPIDER FUR FOR 2K ON KARANA AND HBC 6K SO NOWAY IS THIS WORTH MORE THAN 1500 TOPS
Being that I AM a tailor, and considering the fact that not only are the pieces a ROYAL pain in the behind to aquire, BUT the trivial level is 250 plus and believe me when I say that the tailor can EASILY blow 5k plat PLUS days and weeks of trying to aquire all the components, just trying to get a single point raise... so take your

and stick it in that highly uncomfortable place where ogres fear to tread...

BOTTOM LINE -- I DONT CARE WHAT IT COST YOU TO MAKE. i just want the most for MY money!!

Actually it took me about 30k to max out jc. Tailoring is by far the hardest tradeskill though. You can't buy the stuff from a vendor so not only is it costly but it's a royal pain in the ***** This is a great cloak. I'd gladly pay 4k for one. Give me a tell if you're a master tailor on tunare, I have a few things that I'd like to buy and plenty of cash to buy them with.
IMO, I'd say a ball park figure on Tarrew Marr would be about 8K, it's a mighty fine Cloak. Especially for Damage dealers like Rogues. If it "was" only going for like 2K, I'd buy one myself. IMHO, it's just another way the trade skills are getting a shot in the arm, Class speicific Armors from Tailoring are also awesome. WTG VI.. Wait a minute.. hmm, I'll have to rethink that statement.. but deffinitely a step forward for them, hehehe.

I mean sure Blacksmithing has a few decent items for under 20 people but NOTHING a blacksmith can make comes anywhere near this cloak. N_O_T_H_I_N_G
Enchanted full plate armor has like 14 ac on the cloak, i think. and depending on the metal bar you use like 4 str, wis, sta, or another stat i cant remember int maybe. Its an awsome armor set if you can find the griffene blood. This item however is pretty good, you give up ac over plate cloaks, but its sta is a really good thing. Weather or not someone would give up 4 ac for 4 more str 6 more sta over a spider fur is up to them.
Also yes, things get sold for what people will pay, to a point. Say a tailor spends a week collecting to suceed on an item and puts 1k into it. You think your gona get that item for 1200pp your just kidding yourself. Its called economy, people will take extra time to sell something for more so they make a profit instead of pissing there money into the wind. Im unshur about the economy on any server but the tibunal, but i would take a guess that 4k is a pretty reasonable price, and spider fur is only 2.5k on trib.
There is alot of people flaming others couse they say a price, it all depends on your server, a price on an old server will be low, a price on a new server will be high.

When will they release the remaining racial recipes???? Been waiting for trolls racial armor forever now. The forge in Grobb is USELESS!!!!!!! You cant make anything in it!!!!!!
Yeah, for plate wearing classes the AC is better. Still I like the stats and saves on the velium hound. Imbued Field Plate of Rallos Zek is a pretty specific item, mainly gonna be large race warriors wearing this. The velium hound is all/all making it a much better item to players in general.
well, the ingrediants are NOT hard to get, the price however is probably a bit low, i would NOT pay more than 2k for this item, go to west wastes, tons of velium hounds out there, and yes, their fur is a common drop. the rest of the stuff can be bought in thurgadin near bank.

Given the skill level needed to make velious fur armor I can't imagine that these pieces will be cheap. This would certainly sell for at least as much as a HBC. The price listed is ridiculously low.
