These also drop off the seatail drakes on Suncrest
Dropped of a Tidewater Oracle.....If you're doing "investigating the combine ruins" as well as "The Abandoned Relics" and "Totem of Fire and Water" you should kill these goblins as some parts overlap.

Wow those stones just dont like to drop toke me 4hours to get 20 of them to drop for my character and another. not rare just uncommon i believe..

Had one drop off a sludge lurker in Sewers of Nihilia, the Crematory today.
Actually it's dropping off everything here. After about 20-30 kills, all I have gotten is 4x sewer slime and 6x combine stone.

please add:
a Sunstone flame warden
a Sunstone pyranist
a Sunstone reaver
to the list of mobs dropping Combine Stone. Sunstone goblins are located on the north shore of Suncrest Ridge Island in The Buried Sea.
QUEST ITEM for Investigating the Combine Ruins (Brynden Snow- Barren Coast). 10 required.
note regarding the 10 Combine Stone collection in Investigating the Combine Ruins: you'll get a few of these while you're killing raptors, basilisks and tigers for this quest, but if you don't get all 10 Combine Stones from killing 10 basilisks, 10 raptors and 10 tigers; don't bother killing these over and over. you'll likely loot Combine Stones while you're doing gobbies for Totem of War and Fire (Brynden Snow- Barren Coast).

Had this item drop from all trash in the Sewers of Nihilia instances attained from Barindu
Drops off Sunstone High Priest in The Buried Sea - no clue what it's for.
Started a (gnome) enchanter and had CR as the starting city. I turned in my guild summons letter to the enchanter guildmaster (drakken) and she gave me the Combine Stone. Is listed a quest item.
