Scars of VeliousI totaly agree, why on earth give me 5 wis when I truely dont care about it? This is race and class specific armor. I could understand if maybe a pally could use this but come on.
They tell us "this race class combo will be dificult" but you know deep down if its hard its worth something, but no. All our armor is green or grey. all our 2 handed weapons look stupid. I mean hey if we dont get to take over the world with our overwhelming power then please at least make us look cool for all our hard work just leveling these chrs, is that to much to ask?

for what tradeskills i dont think so this is a nice peice of armor but VI sure did ***** up this time.
again, i ask why 5 WIS? we get all these guilds together, take ages to get our raid techniques down, then finally, after all this work, we get armor with stats we cant use? is Verant just filled with people who think this is funny? is this their way of getting their jollies? :/

considering that verent makes the first 40+ lvls of our life hell i think that we should get pampered in the later lvl's. hell, have you ever tried to get an iksar to EC to buy/sell something? have you tried getting an iksar anywere that isn't on kunark for that matter? this race/class is a pain, nice to see it pays off!!

they are called "porters" :P it pays off to make friends with druids and wizzies lol, both of which i have many :) not very hard for me to travel anymore.

So not only do the iksar have a higher base ac, they get items that give the same ac as the other races. Just proves that Verant loves the leezards more than anything else, even druids.

Nay, I'd have to disagree. Not to complain (all other GM armor blows Umbral outa the water anyway) but I'd take 10fire over 5wis, 20hp, and 1 dex...hehe. Though it's good to finally see Iksar getting something good, all of our other armor has a few AC less making our AC bounus worthless.
until u get to the high end game where velious armor comes in and is all the same which does indeed give iksar the edge on ac
