Using this spell and creating the insta-cast spell scrolls (Ornate Scroll of Fire Strike, etc.)using binding powders is an inexpensive (relatively) way to max research skills and level up the research trophy for enchanters. The end product scrolls are sellable, tradable, or you can keep them to use for those fights where the mana is gone before the mob is quite dead.

To all the researchers beating their brains out trying to find a use for these numerous drops of 5 different types of papers....they are only slated for *FUTURE* use. So far as I have been able to find out they don't even plan on having a use for them with the SoF expansion in November. This is only a guess, but I would imagine with the mob levels they drop from they are most likely to research level 71-75 spells. Seems kind of a waste if true being as the bulk of those spells can be bought, unless it is to one day research the Rank 2 versions. Please post if you hear anything new, thanks.
