These are nice pants, But i dont know why they made the casting time so long, takes about as long as a teleport. Is that some kind of penalty for having clickable clarity ? hehe
Could another class get this and just use for the effect?

the 50 mana from SS armor is the deciding factor here.
everything else is almost even. so one more item that SS wins over kael for enchanters.

Only thing the effect is good for is when I get a rez and I'm totally oom. Otherwise it's worthless and we have about 20 different items that cast clarity now. Sort of like mages with that stupid reclaim energy effect.

It's worthless because most people who have a shot at getting this already have clarity 2, which would have made more sense as the effect.

It's nice when newbies asks for Clarity and you don't want to open the spellbook at page 38 to mem it and cast it :)

The Giant Scalemail leggings that drop in the same area of Kael are AC11 +3 INT. So what if they weigh 11lbs. At least these quest pants are much better than the POS leggings that drop in Hate.

it all depends on the casting time as a chanter ive never realy had any problems with mana cept on a rare occassion .if they have an outrageous casting time i may only use them when i cant sit due to a mob being over agro'd on me if i sit to mem the spell. then again im only lvl 51 so who knows

Aside from casting on noobie beggars, what good is the effect past 54? And I'd think that the higher level enchanters would be more likely to get these... For the effort required, I'd let another caster class loot the quest leggings and keep black chitin lol

Enchanter only and no drop they are, worthless to another class they would be.

The quest piece that drops for this is used in all of the caster quests, so another could get their legs rather that the enchanter getting his/hers.
