To answer some questions from previous posts:
Yes, Breeze was better than Clarity in the early levels.. it seems they've fixed this, but I'm not sure.
C3 (KEI), like all 50+ buffs, has a level restriction of 45+ on it, some higher, depending on the level of the buff. HOWEVER- There was a loophole. If it was a group buff, and a 44- was not targetted, then it'd affect anyone in the group, regardless of level. This has since been fixed.

My chanter friend and I tested this last night to confirm. At the level you recieve clarity (26), it is actually weaker than Breeze. You lose 2 manaregen/tick with Clarity on. I can only assume this is due to the recent every level spell changes.
Breeze:
2: Increase Mana by 4 (L14) to 6 (L20) per tick
Clarity:
2: Increase Mana by 4 (L26) to 9 (L64) per tick

Anyone know the minimum target levels for the clarity line? Have checked raw data and Lucy (from which Raw data seems to be derived) and can't figure it out.

Any level can receive clarity. It is C2 and KEI that have level restrictions I think.
Clarity cannot be cast on just any level character. Low levels get Breeze or are you referring to Breeze as Clarity?
im not exactly sure but you are right the restriction is too high!!

Restrictions are NOT to high. C3 should not be kicked down to players lower then 45 ! This game has turned all the new players into helpless crybabys. Remember the days when Clarity was all you Had?? If you dont then your prob. one of those helpless crybabys who will flame my reply. Reguardless, you have been robbed of the REAL LIFE experience of the game. This in turn makes the noobs showing up for group or raids just a real pain in the ***. I have to deal with enough stupid people out in the real world. NOW even with level restrictions to many of the tards are slipping by the natural selection safety net. Look I have no problem with progress. I have no problem with 'buffing' and 'twinking' when you are an experienced player. I do have problems with GREEDY people who just ***** about level restrictions because it has hurt cash flow. Look how Temperence has exploded for the low lv clerics thanks to the level limits. Amazing how all Greedy high lv clerics RUSH now to get that spell scribed. Monopolizing the market with Aego and Virtue is gone now. Same will happen to a lesser extent now with Clarity. Maybe now a poor lowbie chanter ( think about that statement ) can get a Sow again for a simple cool breeze.

There are no days before Clarity. Clarity is a lvl 29 enchanter spell and has been in the game since launch. Maybe you are thinking about Clarity 2, which was added with the Kunark expansion?
