1) Whenever I use the idol, I have no idea if it's working or not .... no messages or anything come up to say something like "trap triggered". Anybody else getting any feedback?
2) Any idea if it's unresistable the same as malo?

Seems nice enough so far, but it needs the duration increased. I can set down an Idol and have it poof by the end of a single fight. It would be much more useful if it were to last longer, drop an idol to your groups pull point, and *boom* insta-malo on inc. "Shamans, making the world a safer place for Rangers and Enchanters, one Idol at a time".
This spell is excellent completed the quest solo in about 40 mins, in raid events that spawn multiple adds dropping the Idol debuffs the adds and allows them to be brought under control that much easier. I found it very useful dropping the Idol on our last Vishmar attempt in the kite path of the drake adds allowing them to be snared that much easier.
