yea speaking of that weighty polearm..is it really worth 250pp? cause i have one with my lvl 14 pally and someone just came up and gave it to me..i had no idea it was worth that much..so i should sell it for like 250pp or something?
unless you are on a fairly new server ( and if you are on Mith Marr and I read your sig right then you arent ) this weapon won't be sold for much.
If you have a better weapon than that you wouldnt be worrying about 250pp either, so I would just say use it.

Hint : At lower levels it pays off good to farm a dungeon 10-15 levels below you. At 10-20 you can repeatedly kill monsters with good drops, like the wandering greenbloods in BB, the insignia's ,e.g. are worth 4pp.
Later on, like level 30-40 you can farm dungeons like Unrest and sell the Fine Steel weapons there.
At 40-50 you can farm Crystal caverns, orc side. People pay alot for velium ore and those orcs drop alot of gems, pp, velium weapons and the occasional frozen sword worth 18 or 28pp ( LS or 2HS ).

What's better? This or a Weighty Polearm for 250pp in bazaar?
If you disregard the Proc on this sword, then the polearm will out-damage it by a hundred or so damage per minute.
If you can get 2 unresisted procs per minute from this then you start coming out ahead. So it depends on the Proc rate (Dex) and resist rate (enemies Cold Resist.

my pally would do INSANE damage w/ this awesome weapon...i hope i get the chance to kill the monster or do the quest for this item in the not too distant future

This item has not been nerfed. It's stats are exactly as the screenshot shows, except that it is now NODROP.
And... I only wish I could sell it, 'cause I got it by acclamation. No one on the raid wanted it =x
However, this is the only weapon I've ever hit for 200 with, and I did have a round 122 + 187proc, 155 + 187proc, which is surely the most crushing round I've ever delivered.

I hate to burst your bubble but with a 37 70 2hs (Skill is only at 120 some currentely) I dealt a 142 slash + 246 AE proc, name of the wep is Earthshaker and it was well worth the 150pp I spent on it =)
This post you are flaming is pre-PoP. And the Zweihander is a nice sword and a satisfying reward after a dragon take down in VP. Very fun raids.

This dropped on the Veeshan server 3 weeks ago, and I was lucky enough to be awarded it. Its a VERY nice sword.

Noone would ever sell this weapon. Its too good, you will have to go to veeshans peek and get it for yourself.
