Umm... would it show up on a wood elf? My char is getting married and if I can wear a robe, I'll be very very happy. She's a wood elf ranger, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think woodelves have a robe model that can be displayed... but I'm not sure

I recently bought this on Tarew for my DE Nec... and it looks like I'm wearing nothing more then a collar around my neck. I've adjusted the Velious graphics and everything.. and all that shows is a collar and he has a bare chest.. His chest isn't color black like in the photo. Any ideas why?

Just got this for my 43rd Wizardess.. Tribunal Server.. cheapest I could find was 1850pp and also traded in my Crystalline Robe .... and boy does she look good!!!

It pains me to ask this but...

This is a alright robe if you are mid lvl or even high lvl for a monk but for int casters go with the froglik bonecasters robe or the crimson robe results are much, much better.
The crimson robe would be nice...howere, if you are talking about the one that drops in Fear...GOOD luck getting that..not everyone is in a outstanding guild...
I personally would like this robe netted kelp one...I have a crystaline robes now..If anyone has this for sale on Lanys look me up.

On Karana these never go for 1-2kpp.

I have conbined an almost full suit of this along with the white satined gloves on PoA, and some other items I have switched out for improved MR and CR. I have never been hit by an Naggy AE yet. FR is right now about 180 on average when I go down there with Elemental armor and circle of summer cast on me. All I need now is 2 BD bracers to replace the bracers and I'll be pushing 200 WOOT!!! Too bad I will be too high to do Naggy anymore by then. I think it's hilarious when over half the tank go down and I am still sitting there chaining pets.

Netted Kelp Tunic on Karana (and it truely is a honey of a tunic for us monks), goes for roughly 4k. May I suggest "Try Harder University-THU- Tier? They may be more your speed... lol

this sells for 1 - 2k tops on karana its not a very hard item to get if your the right lvl to get it . If your not a newb dont read any of the poasts below they will just agro anyone that knows whats what . peace .

It looks Hot on female casters, and is worth about 8k on my server , which is about right considering the stats are a bit better then bone casters robe . only thing is no mana.
It is however pretty hard to get, i've done plenty of hunting in SG and have yet to see one drop.

I'm a 32 monk and I just bought netted kelp shoes for 500pp and saw a tunic for 1k. These prices seem EXTEREMLY low to me, I don't know why the prices have dropped so drastically on netted kelp items.

If you have to ask "where is SG" then you are WAY to low level to go.

I disagree in your level assesment of the place, I started going in there with a grp of high 40's low 50's, I was the enchanter for our one grp and i was only levle 49 at the time, now im 54 and the same grp still goes, we allways have a blast

what were you fighting at lvl 49? I have a difficult time slowing the Enthralled mobs with a 57 chanter on occasion, as well as messing. A tash helps lots but how much damage can a caster take when getting pounded for 200+. If your cleric was only 49 as well, then you also don't have the hp buffs to take the severe beatings. Not saying it is not doable with a group of high 40ish players, but very curious what you fight and what your strategies are? I myself usually fight up top before the bridge and find we only get an occasional double pull and gems drop regularly

Okay folks, whoever says they sell this armor for 2k or even 3k MAX, if you are going to come here to deflate prices so you can buy one, make your lies a little more believable, nobody who does a price check in a zone with more than 20 people in it is going to believe that it's only worth 3k.
For whomever said the armor looked like "newbie" armor, or something to that effect, you have to edit your eqclient file in your Everquest directory and change everything with the word Armor in it from FALSE to TRUE. Showarmor I think is the setting. Otherwise, you can't see any of the velious armor textures.

But, he's right. No one seriously purchases armor due to the texture, anyway. At least, no one who is going to get anywhere. I do admit that I sought this armor out because it looks/looked fantastic, but had the stats not been so nice, I wouldn't have bothered.
Though since the release of SoL, all netted kelp appears as plain leather, I believe unique textures will eventually be added.

I figured if he could get it I certanly could. There is no need to pay over the odds for a item that drops in the game. I am a level 51 necro and have never had 5kpp in the bank. So i will be heading to SG to get myself one latter on.

yah i just baught one of these thinking the graphic was gunna be all tight looking like on the fastiont able i whent to nope for dark elf mag it looks like a newbie tunic just dark blue cloth apearance its WEAK tried to get my money back!

I think you didn't turn on your velious armor grpahics in the setting. In this case, every velious armor will look newbie to you. This armor looks REALLY COOL on Dark Elf.
