This mob has any regular Neriad Maiden as a PH. A couple are roamers on a certain path but most are from a static spawn repopping. They can be snared; can be slowed; can be kited underwater if your swim skill is 200; does not summon; will not leave the water if you go up top (same as fish but watch out for other mobs); is social and will not run if two or more are fighting (including swordfish) and attempts to run at low health if it is alone. They are only a tiny bit harder than the normal Neriad Maidens if at all. From what I can tell, they have the same drop rate of the netted kelp armors, gems, seashells, words and runes as the maidens also.
I think the level is a little off on these. We were pulling them while waiting for Fellspine spawn and I saw a few dark blues and a few even cons with my level 51 warrior. Never saw a red or yellow one but the even con ones were hitting me for 272. But like any melee mob just tag a slow on it and you'll be fine. Oh and one more thing...watch out for backstab =)

Hit us for 230's tonight, me a shaman and bard killed her rather easily. She was slowed off the bat, and dropped the nice Neriad Shawl for our bard. She ran at low health so make sure to either snare or nuke hard. I didnt get a snare to stick, but just nuked a lot near the end of the fight, she went down no prob.
You can't snare her, or any of the other underwater mobs. If you try it gives the "this target is immune to change of runspeed spells" message. I tried a few of the seahorses earlier and got the same message, so I'm assuming that it hold true for everything that spawns underwater.
