These are actually very good items considering. What causes most of the controversy is that ppl over use the Bazaar. While it is nice to twink, (mind you, I use Bazaar too)keep in mind that most items looted are pretty darn good it one wasn't wearing armor from a lvl 60+ mob drop or any other high end zone / mob drop.
Just my 2cp since it boggles my mind that this game has gone from Great ( no hackers overly duping or creating Uber gear, to - Evertwink, Land of the Over-Twinked.

These are about the same in rounded-out stats as the crescent sleeves from Dalnir. The crescent have a little more AC and stam, but these counter with STR and DEX. Changing my crescent with these I saw my attack rating go up 1 point, so for me it's a good thing, at least until the next level of armor is available (shiverback or velious quest)

I really can't see how AC 2 STR 2 DEX 3 can possibly compete with AC 12 (wt 0.6) -- namely Azure Sleeves https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2263 -- unless you're desperate to say you got these yourself with no assistance...

most of these frozen shadow armor pieces are obviously made for monks. they have low AC, lots of stats and low weight... just like all the other monk gear.

Wrong! Besides, while this peice IS light as well as most of the rest the only decent peice a monk would probably consider wearing is the tunic which is quite heavy and most monks would never wear it anyways.

How can low AC be a sign that its for monks? Hey cloth armor has low ac.

Yes, obviously for monks. They need that extra mana and charisma for the level 45 GimmeGimmeGimme special attack.

monk yes, for the level you need to be to attain i cant see how, surely there is better stuff a monk can get at mid 30's than this stuff

Surely these are for a quest, the stats on them are really bad for the classes that can use and those high enough to get them, wouldn't want , they cant even sell them. Probably another loose end or broken quest that Verant put in to mess with us.

These sleeves dropped of an Ice Shade w/ a pet and a different looking weapon(a scythe instead of axe) on the 6th floor of the Tower....
