The problem is that it takes up the offhand slot only: that mean--no resist shield, no secondary weapon, no chance of using it in the range or ammo slot. Unless you are one-handed, there are other items that will do better in that slot. The resists are nice, but not irreplaceable.

LOL i sold it the other day on my 55 druid to a merchant..when i ws walking around and i saw Shardtooth just sitting there....rooted em...stacked a few dots on em...with epic for a slow spell....and it took about 3 mins to kill em

Why is this item so hard to sell?! it has resists to good to pass up! I cant even sell it for half the average price. if your on my server give me a tell.

Ok here it is I dont think its worth 4k i do belive its worth 1k you look at the item as a whole its giving 10 resist to fire magic and cold its shaman cleric druid.Ok shamans and clerics have better base resists and better reisist items to obtain.As far as druids go fire magic and cold are by far the worst seen ive playing any class on this game.For people to say that it is worthless or is only worth say 200pp or around that is just plane stupid.This item is really for druids it isnt meant to be a uber stat raiser like most farmers or campers would like its a simple item placed in the game for druids to stab at to raise stats for possible raids in any dungeon.I think a lvl 51 druid that posted on here has better gear due to him being 51 or i should hope so.But to wrap it up Druids you wont find to many itmes that raise stats with hp and mana all in one on off hand item.Really i do miss the Ac on my Charred Guardian Sheild but as a druid Shammy Cleric you not supposed to really tank we support or allow pets and Warriors Tank so Ac isnt a major issue.So please before you make an *** of your self look at the whole picture plus what classes can use it.This semi flame is meant for all that posted just a few Dumbasses

The question is not about mana ,HP, or AC but resist .
An item will only mana or HP is nothing at higher level ; once you reach 40 and more, any caster class uses spells which cost 200 mana each cast so who cares about even +50 mana ?

What will you do with an item + 50 mana or AC when you will be summoned , or a cold, fire AOE on you ?

200 PP for +10 resist magic, fire, cold ???? ah ah ah ...
As some people said, it s a very usefull items for raids. Goto make a little visit to Nagafen or Lady Vox without fire or cold resist and see what happen.

This thing is awsome in some encounters like raids duels and PVP.. it's got mad resists. and they nerfed it so it drops a lot less now... but i'll definatly trade my book for this in and vox trip or anything like that.
