I'm leveling my chanter on Elites in GD near the fort. One of the Elites I killed dropped TWO of these. Very weird. Vendor bait, I guess.

Excuse my ignorance, but which quest?
In all likelyhood they are thinking of Slaggak's Bounty, in Kael, for Cerulean armor where you need Shard Wurm Fang, and Ice Wyvern Stinger.

LOL. Looted two of these from the ancient ones tonight. Sold them to vendors right away cause I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to actually pay more than 20pp. My bad

What level are you? Have you gotten your Dual Wield skill yet? Gotta have a point in it before you can use it (Monks Excepted... they get to start).

This is a decent off hand weapon for people who want a pericer off hand. Remeber the dly in your off hand means nothing. Its the dly in your main hand thats making your weapon in your off hand work.
While I'd perfer this to be main hand so I can use it as a back stab switch in but it does make a decent off hand.

I would rather use a shield of the slain unicorn for the same effects plus ac.....??? And for the primary, I would get something that isn't expensive like a walrus tooth. I just happened upon this by searching for piercing weapons I need. I already have a shield of the slain unicorn and a walrus tooth. The walrus tooth also adds stats, and right now I'm using it offhand with my brell keg popper. Not a bad way to up the skills in 1hb and piercing. Still needa find a primary piercing weapon that deals over 10 dmg.

I was ecstatic when I found this on a merchant for 114pp. I bought it and found out that I could not equip it in my primary hand. So I sold it back to the merchant and started crying.

Ummm, this is an good weapon for rogues to stick in a pack until that backstab button pops up. 10 dmg equals big time backstab

if a rogue why not buy SCH 10/25 for 500pp? much better, so I'd say save up and use a Diamond Shard 10/35 100pp from the new room added to Upperguk, BTW the next zone to be remodled is Lguk, yay!

Err.... isn't backstab only allow on primary weapon? Besides, hit ratio at 4.0 is just average. Still crappy.

Actually, I had this exact thought. I fully planned on picking up one of these (otherwise crappy) stickers that I could swap in for those sweet backstabs. Nope, SECONDARY slot only... of Verant, you are a little smarter than I thought. Of course, this makes the stupid thing worth roughly nothing. *sigh* I thought I had found a nice cheap toy but I gotta admit, I wasn't all that thrilled about playing the swap weapon dance anyways.
