I've been whacking orcs for some time now in EW and I have yet to find any bracers, gloves or collars. Can anyone tell me if they have found either of these recently? I have killed so many orcs my faction can't get any worse, and must have looted at least 12 pair each of the legs, arms and coifs from elites and battlemail from the chief.

I think these 3 items were removed from EQ.
i have camped and cleaned the whole fort during
the last month every day...3 times a day...

I have to admit, as a 38 SK it is easier, MUCH easier for me to go to DSP and solo fungi, less exp per kill, ALOT less loot. But easy killing, I can kill 3 shrooms in the time I solo 1 LEgionaire, Hence more exp per time, and I have less med time from killing shrooms. Havent ventured to Sol yet. I think I will try it. But for SK this is not the place to be. oh yeah

I bought this for my SK..i paid 250 for it. Is this a good price?
They sell for 100PP in Veeshan Bazaar typically. The battle mail and the legs seem to be the big ticket items in this set going for 200-250 each most of the time. The arms and the gloves I think were selling for 150 and the collar and coif was also 100. I have the battle mail and the coif so far and am saving for the rest.

If you think it as a good price.. then it was.
It depends on what you think the value is.
There are tons of items that I do not think are worth what people want ( I offer what I think it is worth to me and they can accept or reject).
Conversely, there are a ton of items I will not sell because I think they are far better than what people will offer (glowing black sword ect ect) and I would rather create a new charater to give it to.
Only you can say if it was a good price, based on its value to you.
My warrior probably would not have paid this much for it, where as my bard probably would have.

a little expensive my friend.
Prices are all dependant on what server you play on. This may be only worth 150p on one server, but around 250p on another. If you want to know how much an item is on your server, go to the major selling zone on your server and /shout a PC on the item.

At level 30, should I be planning on assembling a suit of ivy or rygorr? Or something completely different?

I found I can solo the hole fort with my druid harmony in this place rox the house but alway nice haveing a friend that can cast root to cover your butt if you pull a add

Has anybody noticed how XP is real low in this zone???..
Think verant made it that way so that ppl have to chose: High loot or high XP..
I prefered Sol B after 1 RL day at this zone.. Hehe, getting 200-300pp worth of loot a level made me buy a full Ry'Gorr suit in no time..;)

@ 46 the exp was low for me but at 35-40 it is probably decent. After fighting for 2.5 hours, I only got 3.5 blue exp. In the same amount of time in SolB, I'd have 1 yellow. I do like the loot at this location better, though.

I have never seen better XP than this zone. I have gone from level 29 to 35 in two weeks of moderate play with my ranger. Plus I can solo yellows here still at 35 if I dont feel like grouping as there are MANY 35 to 40 level animals in this zone for me to fear kite.
As for the armor, for not altogether super-twinks it really is some of the best going for the price.

Yes these only drop off elites and also the higher rygorr such as quest triggered but not the chief. The Elites can drop any peice of rygorr except Battle mail or cloak. Maybe about 1 piece dropped for every 8 elites killed or so (I have 4 whole sets for my many characters). The camp is a good place to die though even into your 50's as people start all sorts of trains and things agro easilly. The Chief outruns sow by the way and can deall 500hp of damage in one round so if he comes out with the elites you have problems unless very tough. The elites are fairly tough for their level as well.

All Ry'Gorr Armor drops off the Ry'Gorr Elite Guards (LVL 42-44) at the Ry'Gorr fort in EW. The only exception is the Ry'Gorr Battle Mail which only drops off Chief Ry'Gorr.
When i hit 42 im movin to the EW. These things are pretty nice. Anyone know the drop rate on ry'gorr armor off these guys?

Must be rare on the miners, ive killed well over 500 and never seen a single piece of Rygorr. :)
