Uhm, I don't think he was talking about dueling trooper.
The fact is, that I don't even have very nice gear and I already outdamage SK's in my group. Nobody designed the rogue to duel, they designed him to come up behind you and fight unfair. If someone is successful at dueling with a rogue, more power to them, but the class just wasn't made for it.
Damage output has to do with the amount your laying out when your fighting mobs. Granted, you HT and blow all your mana on lifetaps and dots, and we will probably not beat it, but the next spawn, you got nothing. If you are maintaining with pace, you got nothing.

Ive been looking for Sirtha Scarscale and cannot ever find her. I would appreaciate it if someone tells me where she is located at. Thank you all and happy hunting.
Enter the Shaman Guild in Cabilis and take the teleporter to the SK area of the building. As soon as you teleport to the balcony, go left into the tower. There are a series of ladders going down. Go down ladders until you reach the bottom. In that immediate room, the two scarscale's are standing there. Have fun.
well not to burst your bubble but 1 ac at even level 50+ is = about 9 ac by itself, 9 ac is NOTHING. Now, adding 3 points to your attack will make you do about 2-7 more damage. Str and ac are a necessity for any tank class, what this really boils down too is what stats your character is lacking, if your char has plenty of str, skip this item and go for ac, if he has more than enough ac, go for the strength. As for the comment about sk's not doing any damage, heh, I've seen SK's with noc blades that could put some of the other melee classes to shame.
My 2 Copper,
Stonescale Iceblood 54 Disciple - The Seventh Hammer
why is it that the iskar quest armor has better stats than the darkforge? I would give up the 1 point of ac darkforge has better than these, to get that 3 str. Why is verant so inconsistent with their quest items?
OK! All these flamers suck big ones and didn't even answer ur question. the reason the iksar quest is much better is one: iksars can't wear plate (, two: kunark came out after the original version and as u can see the quest get better and better as u get progressively deeper into the continents such as all luclin is better than velious velious is better than kunark and kunark is batter than old worlds, three: cause iksars rule and four: CAUSE THEY CAN.

Well...I am not so sure i would be too thrilled about losing the ac. SK's are still tanks, and they still need ac. But i suspect it will boil down to how often you find yourself as primary puller/tank.
As a sk you can be the puller/tank or you can be the no use for assister. (there is no problem getting groupmates that outdo us in damage) If you are the tank/puller your main consern is not to do damage, but to avoid damage. I would say 1 ac is at abouth the same worth as 5str or 6 dex or 6 agi.
If you are looking for damage you got the wrong class.
