to all you guys asking for it, but this has been reported to be an easy buy in whichever zone is the "bazaar" zone on your server (normally Gfay and/or EC tunnel).

Try going to whichever one seems to have the most shouts/oocs and send up a yell that you'd like one. You can usually pick one of these up for 50pp or under (on Tunare anyway).

This is definitely a must have for the newbie-lvl 20something range. My lvl 4 Human Warrior hits for 21 damage 8/10 of the time. Oh yeah, if you are going to post something on this page please by all means check your freakin spelling. It's pretty sad that when people read these message boards they think " Boy people who play EQ can't read worth a crap "

Great low lvl weapon

I love this weapon. I just got it and im only lvl 13 and critical hit for 59. It is great for keeping my skill up and i personally like big damage 2hs than duel wield. Just thought id put in my 2 cents

Illusion of Worth

People must think this axe is worth something, no matter what I'm trying to sell, people will try to offer me one of these axes in trade.

These are junk, not worth anything to anyone over lvl 20, most of the time they rot.

Please stop trying to push them on me.

this is a righteous weapon!
# Jan 23 2001 at 12:00 AM Rating: Default
this is one heck of a weapon, depending on the haste this could go for quite a fortune too.
If the haste is good then having this in primary with a flamesong in secondary would be one killer combo for Rangers.

Sorry brainchild but it's TWO HANDED slash so there would be NOTHING in your offhand. Also there is no haste on this unless you are referring to someone giving you a haste spell/song in which case that will help with this weapon and any other weapon you weild. Still, it's a good weapon especially for low levels where the damage cap prevents the massive damage that some other two handed weapons can do and the relative low delay of this thing makes it great for keeping your 2HS skill up.

# Apr 20 2001 at 8:11 AM Rating: Decent
Yeah, i gotta go along with the guy above MOST of the way. Just think, this weapon is extremely useful, even for high teen's (I've seen a lvl 20 something walk round with one of these babies!) For those warriors, paladins or shadowknights out there that wanna keep 2hs up but favour a 1hs (like I do) through this in a bag and whip it out everytime your 1hs skill caps for your level.....

I dont see WHY a newbie cant carry one around, as long as he worked pretty hard for it.

Does this weapon suck your energy?
# Jan 14 2001 at 3:18 PM Rating: Default
I just started using this, and i have to say I love the damage, but I keep running out of fatigue points.. ! Is this a normal result of using this weapon or what? Do you have to have a certain strength to use it without getting tired out?

Being a troll with a strength of 118, I don't notice any noticeable fatigue from using this fine weapon. The heft of this axe may very well cause fatigue among races of smaller stature and less strength rating.

Hmm my ogre with 150 Strength and Stamina lasts about 3 minutes at level 4 with this thing. However I don't see any noticeable difference when stamina runs out. Does Stamina actually mean anything?
RE: Does this weapon suck your energy?
# Jan 17 2001 at 7:44 PM Rating: Decent
I think when you run out of stamina, your dex and agi decrease, makes you run slower...therefore easier to hit...i think.

stamina is basic nothing... when you run out of it you have to wait till it racharges just enough so you can attack again... but with the delay on this weapon... you shouldn't even notice the difference...
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 14 2001 at 7:08 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Sorry, but this weapon dose "suck you energy", from what i found out it is the WT of the weapon and how many times you get hit, it lower dex, agi, and str, if you have dodge and you have 75+ dex and you "energy" drops you dex to 72- you will have a better chance of getting hit, my sugestion to get over this bump it to get a cleric or what ever to use cure fatega (and i don't care if I spelled it wrong, *wispers "some one going to complain about that...") with that spell you get I think 10 sec of restoration and there for you get you "energy" back

Actually your stamina bar (the yellow one) makes a difference only if you have a stamina stat below 100 so you can either get a shaman to cast a stamina buff, get some + stamina gear or have a cleric/ranger/druid cast invigor on you. There may be other classes with this spell and it's upgrades but I can't recall offhand except that bards get a stamina song at level 3 and enchanters get augmentation which increases your stamina regen to keep you from getting fatigued.

Just an FYI for general stamina it has to do with the weapon delay vs it's weight. For characters with dual weild the offhand weapon is also factored in although until your dual weild skill goes up it doesn't make a huge difference. Double attack skill also makes a difference in stamina drain. Basically each time you swing a weapon it's weight is factored in and your stamina takes a hit (usually not noticible on your stamina bar) and the more you swing (dual weild, double attack, haste spells/songs) the more stamina you lose. Of course this is all trivial to anyone who can get their stamina over 100 since running out of stamina doesn't reduce their melee stats it just makes it so they can't jump...

being a higher lvl character i know that warriors are always asking for sta..... mainly cause its when there yellow bar drops that they lose dex/agi/str and they get hit more often so its a good idea to get your "healer" to return your "yellow bar" with invigor as to reduce the mana wasted on all the xtra healing u will have to do from enemy's landing more critical hits
Beautiful!!!!

This has been my 2hS weapon of choice for a while now...yes I was twinked it by a friend as I'm only 15 seasons...I would like a reply to this on what someone around the mid 30's thinks of this weapon. Please take into effect the lack of time to go on major quests (ie Fiery etc). Under lvl 20 (str bonuses) I'm avg around 29 each swing (when I hit), but I will say the weight gets to me really fast.

#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 06 2001 at 9:05 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Nice axe but i prefer the Exicutioners Axe del-50 dmg-25 effect:Haste although the effect doesnt proc until lvl-30 i average 50 to 65 dmg per swing and critical hit for 95 to 102 dmg, times that by two using double attack and u can see the dmg potetional! AWSOME Warrior weapon for mid lvl's.
