Bards can combine it in a Song Writing Kit. Can your enchanter combine it in a Spell Research Kit? (Can other hybrid classes combine in a Hybrid Research Kit?)
My Beastlord got the message in red: You cannot combine these items in this container type! He was using a Hybrid Research Kit. And my Magician crafted the Spell no problem in a Spell Research Kit.

Last I checked, the general rule was that bards can't research hybrid spells and hybrids can't research bard songs. There may be exceptions.

I've used this song for many years now, but recently I was confused when I began proc'ing for an unmodified 350 damage, with no apparent source. After a careful investigation it appears my Storm Blade causes me to proc for 350 now, instead of 100, and due to items that increase spell damage it's roughly 370~
Yay! Now I can do 1400 DPS instead of... 1200! (Bards do need a little more love I think. Especially mine.)

There are actually several different songs.
At tier 1 on either side, can purchase song: Blade of the Storm, lv 61 song that has a 75 DD proc effect.
Song: (Fancy words for fear) lv 62 song that acts as a point blank AE fear.
This song, Song: Storm Blade, lv 69 song is a better verson of the lv 61 song. I have seen accounts of it cause a 300 DD proc and heard other accounts of it only being 100 DD. any case, it's nice to have.

I believe this is a song from completing Teir 2 Good Missions. You can buy storm blade song level 61 from the DoN Good side Merchant. The melee love how often the 61 song adds 75 damage to their hits (it acts like a proc). Also, if anyone has pet afinity like a beastlord their pets proc 75 damage on every hit.

On the pet thing -- I think the groupmate would need Pet Affinity AA for the song to effect the pets' attacks, so it won't work for every pet (although by that level most pet casters will have that AA).
