Time Phased Quintessence  

 

This is a drop from Phase 3 or POTime B depending on server/guild.
PoTime is a raid only zone.
There is no way for a group to do any good here. Now that Time is instanced there are a few people trying to run open raids in Time which may or may not be a good thing. Hard to say.
However I do know from experience that usually from 8 to 12 of these can drop. They only drop in P3. I can see the possibility of open raids farming the gear drops from time, however unlikely as the succesful run thru time requires an accomplished raid force to complete.
All of the phases are timed and allow little time for briefings before each battle and the mobs allow very little leeway for errors. In my experience open raids lack the inherent teamwork and experience of an accomplished raiding guild.



Well why would you want one of these as it would be baisically useless to you unless you were in a 'damn time raiding guild'.

FYI the zone in area where you set up your raid is a sort of common area. Yes there are lots of non agro mobs here, and yes you can attack and kill them. They drop no loot to speak of and the only thing you would net is some exp.

Again the key would only be useful to you if you were planning on joining a raiding guild that still raids time. However if that is your goal you could just as easily get visaed in and then loot it as your 'damn time raiding guild' made it thru P3. hehe.

PS: As far as I know you need to keep the Quintessence at least in your bank.. I have mine there and can zone in fine. I thought about destroying it and checking to see if I needed to still have it, but I have not done so as of this wrighting. Maybe I will try it sometime as an experiment.

Do I have to keep the gem or can I trash it?

Our first trip through Time b since patch we netted 10 of these and every named but Dreamwarp had at least 1 item/backflag not sure if this was common now or we got hella lucky.
