OMG. this stuff looks soooo awesome. I have had so many people tell me how cool it looks. But you know what? For as hard as it is to make and as rare as it is...it sux ***. Tunic 12ac...hmm banded tunic 14ac. SO, not good for tanks. Great for casters, right? WRONG. the chest arms and legs I wore for the graphics were the exact ac as the crystalline robes, gatorscale sleeves and hand woven legs I had previous. So, it's only good if it's enchanted or imbued right? WRONG! Imbued can only be worn by followers of Innoruk, but they can easily get better. and the enchanted requires blue diamonds to make if you dont follow Innorukk. and the stats STILL BLOW. I thought I was cool cause I'd only seen 2 other sets on the server, then I realized it's because the stuff sucks. And I can't sell it now, so I guess I just let it rot in the bank and pull it out for weddings or something stupid like that. =/ Nice try verant, but this stuff is garbage.
This should not be rated as common... any item only able to be crafted by a single race with a blacksmithing skill of 200+ cannot be rated as "common"... try RARE
Well, Enchanted no longer needs the blue diamonds, so it once again rocks for non-Innoruuk worshipping Dark-Elves, and for Half-Elves. The Imbued, well, it's still better than Enchanted, for the Dark-Elf true believers.
you must get an enchanter to imbue 3 (less for other pieces) bricks of adamantite. Once that is done, combine a brick, a file, and a neriak nectar to make an imbued adamantite ring. Do this two more times for a total of three rings. This part MUST be done at the Teir'Dal forge in Neriak Third Gate. Then you have an enchanter (or shaman) friend buy you a sapphire (it's a lot cheaper if they buy it) and give it to a DEF cleric to imbue the stone.
First go kill some non-Dark elves until you get some Elf Blood. Then go to a Shadow Man camp and kill them for some Essence of Shadow. Once you have a hand full of each, return to neriak, and find a brew barrel. Combine 1 elf blood, 2 essence of shadow, and 1 neriak nectar, to get a Shadow Temper. The shadow temper uses your brewing skill, and is trivial at level 135.
Then go get some spider silks and make a silk swatch by combining them two at a time (tailoring skill, trivial at a very low level).
Go to Neriak Third Gate, and go to the merchant selling the racial smithing materials. Buy however many bricks you need (depending on piece), the appropriate pattern, and a Teir'Dal Smithy Hammer. Next you must get an enchanter to imbue 3 (less for other pieces) bricks of adamantite. Once that is done, combine a brick, a file, and a neriak nectar to make an imbued adamantite ring. Do this two more times for a total of three rings. This part MUST be done at the Teir'Dal forge in Neriak Third Gate. It HAS to be a Dark Elf Inny worshipper. Then you have an enchanter (or shaman) friend buy you a sapphire (it's a lot cheaper if they buy it) and give it to a DEF cleric to imbue the stone.
Now, put in your enchanted adamantite rings, shadow temper, silk swatch, pattern, and TD smith hammer in the forge, hit combine, and voila...
There is your Imbued Teir'Dal Chainmail Tunic (assuming you have a sufficient smithing skill). Just as a warning, non-imbued for me fails about 50% of the time, and I have a skill of 175. I hear that the imbued is harder to make, so I am waiting until my skill is higher.
Minor correction, the smith does NOT need to be an Inny worshipper, though he/she does have to be a DE using the Teir'Dal Forge. The imbuer and the eventual wearer have to be though. One DE smith can make Imbued armor for all DEs, even if the smith is an Agnostic.
Is this a quest who startes it and can u tell me what i need were to get it u know all the details cause i cant seem to find what u need for it...and i WANT IT BADLY IAM !$ AND STILL HAVE A APRENTICE ROBE (cant find a better one)
This is crafted by a smith who has level above 175. I think the smith must be a dark elf, and a follower of Innoruk. Only followers of Innoruk can wear this. (takes out us Agnostics hehe).
Next time try to use better grammer and don't use the caps key so much.
The Blue Diamond is used for the enchant Adamanitite spell. The spell is an Enchanter spell (lvl 40+). You need to get the Large brick of Adamantite enchanted be for you make it in to the ring. BUT you only need to enchant the adamantite if you are going to use an Imbued Sapphire.
Call me silly, but i never figgured my god would make that much of a difference when i started my character. Consequently, I dont recall who, if any god, i selected. how do i find out which god my char worships?
Shadow Temper is brewed. Combine in a brew barrel 1 Elven Blood (from any non-dark elven NPC), 1 Neriak Nectar (purchased in Third Gate or given in a newbie quest as a reward), and 2 Essences of Shadows (from Shadowed Men). Trivial at 135, doable at 100.
Sorry, agnostics can't wear this. Below the name, where it usually states magic/lore/nodrop, they added the religions that can use this. If you want to use this particular piece, you must worship Innoruuk.
Ummmm....no. Not with this recipe. The whole point of imbued racial armor is to give people with specific religions and races an option. This armor has to be worn by worshippers of Inny. The recipe calls for an Imbued Sapphire. Any other stone will fail.
Well, in general, change the gem to change the diety, but dark elf cultural only accepts imbues to Innoruuk. But you can leave out the gem (and include 2 BDs instead :), to get similar armor without the diety restriction.
You need at least a 175 smithing skill to attempt it. The only way that this would be in any way profitable, however, is to reach 200 first, due to the difficulty, expense, and sheer annoyance of collecting Blue Diamonds and finding an Enchanter to enchant the adamantite and the Cleric to Imbue the sapphire. Given the stats, they would probably sell for between 4k and 7k, though I have yet to make them.
The Blue Diamond is used for the enchant Adamanitite spell. The spell is an Enchanter spell (lvl 40+). You need to get the Large brick of Adamantite enchanted be for you make it in to the ring. BUT you only need to enchant the adamantite if you are going to use an Imbued Sapphire.
he answered your question... YOU NEED TO ENCHANT THE ADAMANDITE, and a BLUE DIAMOND is a spell component to enchant the adamandite... so if you cast enchant adamandite, and don't have a blue diamond in your inventory, it won't work, just like a cleric casting a symbol... the HP buff, if no gem in inventory, no spell..
