I was buying claws for my secondary character for 1hs skills, and feeling rich and powerful for a lowbie after trading an N64 controller for a Golden Braceer(not sure real name, sold for 3500pp), I auctioned for some claws. I received a tell from a friendly and polite-sounding female wood elf rogue that she would sell a Sarnak Pitchatka to me for the low price of 300pp(tch!). I checked it out, and it seemed all right at the time, and i thought what the heck, I'm richer than King Tearis-Thex himself so I'll buy it. After the transaction, I received no less than three laughs and 4 smacks for her, as she repeatedly told me how stupid I was that I'd payed nearly twice as much as it was worth. Daunted, I grudgingly gave this to my secondary, and realize something:
It sucked! It didn't work with my character it had poor damage slow delay you name it. I really did realize it was worth half as much as I paid.

the stats on this weapon r really 9 dmg 33dly 3 dex 15 hp so either this was posted and the game changed or this was wrong the whole time
Just had one drop for me today while camping the Chancellor, 7/33 is the correct damage

This is crap even with stats (unless you have a newbie char). Not worth much more than what a vendor would give you
Well for one, this weapon adds stats, that's a price increase right there. For two, it goes secondary. How many ppl do you know that would kill to weild a set of claws? this is a cheap alternative, rather then dishing it out for stormfeather's. I think this is worth more like 150pp. Those added stats are quite good as well as it being a secondary claw.
The sarnak pitchatka doesn't equip in secondary, the eitchatka does. Why they have info on one, and a picture of the other I don't know. The eitchatka is cool for secondary with an icetooth claw or icepaw warclaw, but the pitchatka is no better than a fs longsword, and the stats aren't much, so don't see the price, unless it is a fashion thing, which is fine.

actually there are two different kinds of sarnak pitchatkas. one goes in the primary slot and one goes in the secondary

This weapon may not be the fastest but when combined with a crystal fiber and a FBSS (yes my guild does keep me well twinked) I do lots of damage really fast compared to many other lvl 16 warriors I have seen.
Why would anyone pay 130 PP for a really bad slashing weapon that can only go in primary hand? this seem like they wouldn't be worth more than 50pp

Answer - they wouldn't. Not much more than 50, anyway. I managed to get 70pp for mine near the bank in Firiona Vie. It actually WAS an upgrade to the lowbie Ranger I sold it to, so we were both pleased I think.

Mostly because people like to have a kewl looking character as well as a well equiped character. I am trying to get this one for my friends 15th lvl Iksar Warrior so he can have the matching set.

Delay isnt my biggest problem, altho i would like htem alittle faster tho-they're like 100-200pp on my server tho ;) and my bard can use songs to speed up my attack har har. My 2cp

There is the Sarnak Eitchatka and the Sarnak Pitchatka. They seem to have the same stats but they apparently are not the same so you can have two sarnak claws.

The Pitchatka is the Primary hand weapon and the Eitchatka is the secondary hand weapon... Yes, both have the same stats and the Eitch seems to be a bit more rare. Bye the way if you want them get off the zone walls and venture out to a fort (there are 2 in OT, never camped, with 9 spawns).
