Not rightlyfully sure how much I spent. Handed in 80 gold coins at a time. Found that the dark elf casino dude gave me a HUUUGELY bigger return on my coins than the others (I am a dark elf, so may be intentional). Spent maybe an hour doing this, got a golden ticket (and with that, the item I wanted, holgresh elder beads to pre-proc my assert blood on before/inbetween fights), drunk goggles, poison gloves, 4 or 5 deluxe sewing kits (which prolly makes this profitable tonight), and like...50 illusion pots. Not bad.
(Guise of the Deceiver) I can confirm that if you are a Dark Elf, you cannot win one (with a gold ticket) from the casino. Tried over 1000 times to turn in the last gold ticket, nada.
Switched race to Gnome, and got it almost immediately.

I found that since I had Mask of Deception, he would not award me Guise of the Deceiver after a hundred or so tries. I destroyed the Mask of Deception, then I got the Guise of the Deceiver immediately afterwards on the very next try. I also had all 7 other items winnable from the golden ticket in my inventory.

Okay, I am a little confused here.
You are a Dark Elf.
But you want the Guise of the Deceiver [Item ID: 2469]? Which states:

Why would a dark elf want a dark elf illusion?
Was a fear-mongering rumor that if you turned in gold ticket and were supposed to get a duplicate item, it would now eat that ticket. I am here to say that it does not happen. I went to hand in my ticketand I got the " Jacob Thornblade says 'I am sorry but at the moment our great wheel of prizes is not spinning! Could you try again in a few moments while I try to fix the jam? Thanks! " as posted below. and retained possession of the ticket. Turned same ticket in a moment later and got my holgresh elder beads.
You can receive one of eight items after turning in your Gold Ticket, two of which are No Drop. Most people are striving for the Glowing Black Drum [Run Fast Speed] which means you should have these six tradeable items in your inventory so that you won't get them:

When you turn-in your ticket to Jacob Thornblade, sometimes you'll get the following message:
This means you have the item already that Jacob Thornblade just tried to give you. Just keep resubmitting your ticket until you get an item. With all tradeable items, the Guise of the Deceiver mask dropped first each time, then took quite a few retries to get the Glowing Black Drum.
It is worth noting that the two No Drop items are NOT lore so that you may possibly get two if you are trying to get one of the other items. However, I suspect that the game knows if you have these items also because of the numerous retries of attempting to get the drum.

So far i've gotten holgresh beads, ruby bp, prenerf fungi, and mistwalker. Kinda cool little items.
SOOO does anyone have a list of what you could get from this thing I do not want to waste anything to get one and get nothing .... I have asked over and over in /general but no one links anything..
It can now be bought from Alerynril the Loyal in PoK for 960 Crowns.

alot of these posts may get your hopes up on getting a ticket. DONT! i spent 90k tonight and didnt get didley. ive spent over 300k in there and didnt get didley. this kind of thing makes me remember why i quit this game for so long in the first place. spend 90k take hours turning in coins and end up with nothing but a deluxe sowing kit to show for it.
You quit the game because you didn't get a golden ticket? In your own words you spent over 300k on a ticket that doesn't even really guarantee anything and only 2 of the items are worth a ****(even in 2010), you could have more wisely invested the money: **** for 300k you could buy the fastest bought mount in the game and still had money for gear and stuff. Maybe it's a good thing you quit because your investments and gambling were just bad.

Or you could have spent your 90k in the baz and got something....its called gambling.

The Gold Ticket is available as a reward choice in the quest called "McKenzie's Gift".
The quest is a simple one - hand any Faded item (former raid items from the Classic MMs) to the Old Man in PoK and you get the following:
* Purple "tell" style text,
"Old Man McKenzie says 'Here be 42 McKenzie's Special Brew for ye. Also take this gift for ye trouble'".
* A choice of the following rewards pops up in a quest reward window:
Distillate of Alacrity
Distillate of Celestial Healing
Distillate of Clarity
Distillate of Divine Healing
Distillate of Health
Distillate of Replenishment
Distillate of Spirituality
Mask of the Lost Guktan
Book of Knowledge

So I turned my Cold Iron Morning Star to mckenzie this morning, picked a golden ticket for fun... turn it in and got my guise of the deceiver.. nice

I got 3 yesterday, and don't think it was an easy feat. I started around 930am and didn't received my last one til about 1000pm. Good thing is I only spent about 175k getting them. Most of the other time was playing off the winnings. Had good rounds where I would win 20+ tokens.
Here's what I won: Snakefingers, Beer Goggles, 10 Deluxe Sewing Kit and was the good stuff!
I received the usual stuff gems/food/healing elixir/resistance stones/gate pots/fireworks/illusions, etc OH YA! did I say FOOD!! : )
Now the tickets, I did what Takbleem said the did started at one NPC and just gave him my tokens til he gave up the ticket, then put it in bank. Then went to the next one and did the same. All was going well until I got to Vuri Pandar!!! Either he didn't have one or he didn't want to part with it.
Here's what I did with my tickets, First one: on trader, sry have to get some money back! (only 150k on E-Marr server)
Second one gave to my baby Druid (Samiport), she in-turn turned it in and she got herself a nice "ride" Glowing Drogmor! I was second guessing whether to turn in or not since some of the gear is "old" school. But guess it paid off.
Gave her another one and she asks in general chat if anyone ever uses them? Baz was selling for 700k!! Thought it was too much so I sold it for 100k.
Almost got my money back! I was a good day! Not going to be doing to again soon, I was starting to feel like a zombie.

I had made an audio trigger to Thump1 when I saw "Ticket". The very next hand in (I do not even exaggerate) I heard a rather conspicuous THUMP, compared to the normal Alert2 I hear when I see "tokens" won.
I've posted this here in case anyone is like me, and prefers to use Audio Triggers as a wake-up call while on such mind-numbing events.

Spent 2 mins in the casino place and got this. spent 4k in on tokens and used probably about 10 of them then got the ticket. sold for 500k about 20 mins after getting it. whent to the dark elf guy for the winnings. all i can say is that if u want to try and come up on this just stick with 1 guy and mayby u will get lucky. now i just need to get the damn right click water illusion mask to drop >.<!!!

Tried the casino for the first time a few days ago and I was there for a few days hehe. I finnally got the ticket after dumping about 300kpp, give or take a little. I ended up selling it for 500k less then an hour after I got it. Also got Beer googles, snake fingers, 2 Instant gate potions which are really useful. Vial of swirling smoke is the name I believe. I got a few Exlir healing potions that heal for only around 200pts but not too shabby. Also a ton of potions, food, and sewing kits...Oh, and a few mana potions that cast harvest. And some green resistence stone that had like + 25 poison on it, Range item, No drop no trade. looked like a emerald. The guy I sold it too got those holgresh beads or whatever their called. Eye of zoom effect....

guy in bazaar trying to sell this for 900k.. I asked and he said I may get a fast horse.. im 75 druid 1088 aa's 11k hp 12k mana all my armor got 300+hp an mana and some 400+ hp an mana.. spent 10k on one but use that only if Im the healer. I been farm far's for over 3 yr's bout everday and I have more then 900k but wouldnt think of spending it on a faster horse.. now if I got a upgrad with 600+ hp and mana I wouu... naa I wouldnt I dont care what I would get 900k is way to much for one thing ... dont wast your plat guys .. get in a good raiding guild and work on upgrads like that

Got 4 today so far :) yay me. First one I got Rubicite Breastplate, Second one I got Vibrating Gauntlets of Infused, Third I got Guise of the Deceiver, Fourth Glowing Black Drum. Spent about 350k and still had a lot of tokens left over. Going for a fifth now. Got 3 gold tickets from Gralin dude....ranger class one. And just got 1 from the wizard class one. Working with the shaman guy now =X

was missing 2 gold ticket prices. decided to use 30k every evening before going to bed. 2 first nights;nothing. third night; gold ticket.. today(fourth night); used less than 20k,and got my last gold ticket =)) *happy dance!!*

Have spent about 80k and have won 2 tickets..i am a cleric..first ticket was DE mask and 2nd i won elder beads. so i guess keep at it..hoping for bard speed drog now lol
