I've seen it listed on another site that this aug is Spell Haste II not III....could someone confirm? It's a big difference. Seems to me for 60ap it's probably II...not III as shown here.
Does anyone know if this is only buyable with points earned in certain Adventures only done out of SRo? I am about to check it out m'self, but it might be relevant information for others too [:smiles:]
I can't remember who I talked to or which camp it was, but I talked to an NPC that said something about repairing broken and shattered gems and the like. I was wondering if this is one of those items that you hand in and get a 'fixed' version with better stats? I am just guessing at all of this, but that would be pretty cool to get an aug even better than this, which is good already.

I have read that augs with a number smaller than the number on the armor slot will fit. Assuming that all other requirements for compatibility are met, that is. Since pre LDoN items now have a 7 slot, would this fit now? Can anyone confirm one way or another? It would be a nice item to have on a bracer or something.
Okay, a quick follow up on that. I tried it last night with a type 3 regen item that is ear compatible. The earring has a 7 slot, but it did not work. If lesser numbered augs used to fit in the higher numbered slots, they dont anymore. I made sure to check that all other requirements were met for compatibility, and they were.
Just fyi. It sure does suck to spend ap's on an aug and not be able to use it =P Ah well, live and learn.

You're never gonna make your real items much better than they already are and the ****** items you can buy in LDoN will never be as good as the items you can get in real expansions. LDoN is nothing but seemingly good midlevel items with a recommended level 15 levels above what it should be and dungeon after dungeon of repeating crap that shows a lack of imagination totally and completely compared to the expansions made when verant was a part of the creative team. All I can say is sony has one more chance, whatever is after LDoN expansion better be slown down, coded right, alpha/beta tested all around by competant people, and most importantly hire some good people to give the damn thing a feel like the other expansions not this general bullcrap in LDoN. LoY was strike one, LDoN is strike 2, after the next expansion comes out if it's not one of the best things they've ever made Guild Wars or the game being made by Sigil Games will be there to take it's place and it will be bye bye to Sony's MMORPG department...
?!?! There are quite a few nice items that qualify as high-end, although they require massive amounts of points to get (maybe its the effort you object to? Sorry you can't buy adventure points on E-Bay). And yes, if you have ANY brains, you can use the augs to make your "real" items much better than they already are (War Marshall's Bladed Staff with a 125pt DD and stun effect proc anyone?). For those of us who care more about having fun than getting items "as good as the items you can get in real expansions" (and BTW, last night I dropped a piece of my Thurg armor for a piece that dropped off a named in Deepest Guk because it was better than the Velious expansion armor), LDoN rocks, and the loot is pretty damn good too. One of the better expansions IMHO. But, hey, what do I know? I like the LoY zones, too.
Sorry you don't like LDoN, and sorry you didn't like LoY. There are other games besides EQ to play, just try not to get hit by the whaaambulance on your way there.
