OMG, we just killed Quarm and a freaking cleric just won this! Give me a break, give us shamans and druids a freaking break and get yer 1.5 thats better anyways! Quit being lazy and ******** yerselves and us.
I run a Cleric bot on raids, so I do have some insight into the Cleric mind-set.
Here's the deal: lotta Clerics keep their 1.5/2.0 in an inventory slot, and equip another item/shield instead. Why? Because while the 1.5/2.0 is nice, the effects on it (Shielding, DoT Shielding, those effects) just aren't up to par with a lot of other items they can wield.
Furthermore, the Heal mod on this is pretty sweet. My Cleric is Lvl 70, and the best Heal mod he's got is from his Qvic arms (+45%, Lvl 68 cap).
(My own Cleric has a Whorl, along with his 1.5; the 1.5 is clicked from inventory, allowing him the use of the +5mp/+10hp regen on the Whorl, not to mention the +5% Stun Resist. An excellent trade for the measly +2% DoT Shielding on his 1.5 Epic. And...no loss of AC, considering both are +80ac.)
Compare the Whorl to the Harmony of the Soul and the Aegis of Superior Divinity.
Obviously, if he had his 2.0, he'd wield that 24/7; he's already got his Globe from Anguish, just need to find the time to do the rest...

just got this sheld the other day. i put the grd eyes in it to make it an even 100AC. i know the post are old but clerics dont want this cuz 1.5 is better.

this is a verry nice shield but one tip if u don,t got the force to down quarm and want a nice shield hp mana wise do MPG trial :)

Aye a nice shield indeed.
It is just so sad that the effects on PoP God gear are capped at 67. It is so much harder to get than a lot of OOW effects gear which effects go to 70th lvl.

aye it is a nice sheild but is far from the best sheild in the game and this is coming from a lvl 69 cleric who is in qvic and almost into anguish but dont get me wrong it is a nice shield and if i dont get one better before i next time run u bet your butt imma bid on this shield if it drops

This is an Uber shield all round and would be a major upgrade to any class winning it.
The HP, ac, resists and 2 effects are what intrests me, Marr's blessing is a 5% increase to Marrs gift which I have on my sleeves, and serenity is very nice, I have included this in my target profile in my magelo, we are in tier4 in PoTime after 2 weeks and I cannot wait to get to quarm.

Yes, yes it does.
This, no doubt, has got to be the best shield in the game for Clerics, Druids, and Shamans. Period. Not only do the stats ROCK [says captain understatement], but the effect is a Beastlord-Like spell, 5 mana per tick, 10 HP per tick, AND the focus gives 30% EXTRA healing! Imagine that! Phew! I got a headache counting how many uses this shield has...I gotta go lie down!
