if theres anyone on the stromm server who wants to sell one of these for a good price contact wenwe.
I have this for my 58 mage. Is pretty good but am trying to sell it. Going for about 15k on karana sometimes 10k.The effect is useless too me though considering i can summon spell haste gear. Oh well.

I have been hunting here and have gotten up to 3 books in one day.
Have been farming GE for a few weeks now, and this is one I have not seen drop. Any reports of it recently?
Just had one drop on the 28th of Feburary. A few named were up after server reset so I am not sure which dropped it.

haha well everyone that pays that much for it is jipping themselves i paid and have seen it for 7k many of times
this book still has spell haste 3 but now it says good for spells up to lvl66? they are going on CT server for 40k+.
This is a very nice item for the ease of the mob

your right rox i started this game almost 4 years ago and all i had was leather and a finesteel staff lol. i just bought one of these books for 20k spell haste 3 is very hard to find and this item is excellent for my 57 druid just bought it so ill let u all know how it goes, peace.

I had this book and it was ok for taking a certain percentage of my spell time, but got something much better when I hit 61, and since i am a druid and am either healing or dotting in a group, the bracers from a mage were much more useful to me. I bought it in the bazaar for about 1K and sold it today for 17k--i SHOULD have asked for more since I only had it on my trader for 30 minutes. It is nice, but there is much better out there.
It is a nice drop if you can getit, but even better if you can sell it.

I've been in Grieg's for about a week. A thing to keep in mind: All of the lvl 60 named mobs that drop these loots change into a different form and turn you into one also. Put it this way - I was boxing my lvl 65 Beast and my 62 Chanter fighting ONE mob. But looking from my Chanter's eyes - it looked like 3 mobs. (I was a 4-arms), my pet was a centipede, the mob looked like something different to my beast than to my chanter. Just keep that in mind - heh.

While I often get a giggle from the omnipresent flamage, I would like to know if anyone knows what MoB drops it and where they might be found.
This would be a much nicer site if everyone would just remember that there is almost always "better", "faster", and "more uber" gear out there, and that some of us didn't purchase lvl 65 accounts or have a friend who played for 2 years and twinked us from lvl 1. A few of us even started off with only our wooden club and noob tunic from turning in our note to the guildmaster. :)
Any actual information on this would be very nice.

I can totally agree, that is what I do when I want to get away from everything else. Find a new server, make up a newb, start leveling. No twinkage, no PLing, just playing the game the way it was meant to be. I leveled a ranger from 1 to 40 in about 2 weeks of evening and weekend play (I'm slow, what can I say), and had a blast doing it. Quests were fun (don't use spoiler sites), even though the gear I had was not 'uber', it was level-appropriate and I earned every last bit of it. I even have all my newb crafted armor still in the bank. Sure, I twink sometimes, but remember folks, This is not Evertwink, Everloot, Everwhine, it's Everquest.

Having a 63 necro myself i would love to have this item. I use aggro kiting a lot and my most aggroing spell is e-bolt a very sub lvl 60 spell. Apart from that the + on int the added mana and hp and the AC bonus makes it an interesting secondary item.
What the hell is so impractical about this?? Looks pretty damn useful to me...

It's because it's from a decent difficulty raid zone and at level 65 an item like this is garbage. The only redeeming quality is that this is not no-drop, meaning it can go to twinks and/or sold to lower-level characters in the level 52-60 range, which benefit greatly from the spell haste III.
even with my lvl 64 beast and sometimes with my buddie who is lvl 65 beast we both solo here for aa exp and spent a great deal of time in here getting to our present lvls. this zone has been great for me as a beast because i can solo just about any mob that is not in the middle and me and my buddie can duo all the way to the middle with very little trouble. this is just a great zone because of some decent drops and all the mobs(except one of the named) are Db to me and him drop pretty fast and are alot easier to solo then some of the planes mobs. and as for this item me and him are fixing to go try and farm it for our alt casters
wow, your too uber slow down big daddy. I am 64 i have a few spells memed at all times that might be helped by this. .. gate .. . root . . annul . . . the next lower damaging spell
I routinely take mid 50s groups to Griegs for XP and loot.
I know it's hard to believe, but not everyone is level 65 just yet. And even so, not all level 65s will have something better than this. And for that matter, quite a few also won't have all thier 61+ spells. I know it's hard to believe and all, but there you have it numbnuts.

Some people just post stupid things, it may not be the greatest thing, but it is very nice even up to 65
And what ever made GE a lvl 65 Raiding zone, I have dont that zone with my old guild with avg raid lvl around 57 and had no problems at all.

hey get your head out of your rear you say anyone over lvl 60 wouldnt get use out of the effect then your dead wrong i a lvl 62 necro still use many spells under 60 for the simple fact they are cheap and still do their job well or i havent got the upgrade yet so before you flame something look at it from many other classes point of view because one day you just might group with someone who has an item you flamed and they just might not save your behind

MAN there is just no pleasing some people.
OK, maybe it isn't wonderful for you... that doesn't mean that this item is completely useless to anyone who would get it -- by the way Grieg's End is not explicitly a raid zone for level 65 characters -- there are parts that are (were) single groupable by a group of low 50's. The zone is (was) certainly a challenge but the zone was also just revamped -- to make it more dynamic for both raid encounters and exp groups, according to SOE... before you bash something because it isn't any good for you, consider that it may well be good for someone else. Perhaps, just perhaps, not everything in the game is geared towards the level 65 crowd.
No doubt...I was checkin the stats, and nodding my head. I then noticed the AC..good lord, you don't find AC like that on books like this very often =D
