Also Berserkers have been added to the classes that can wear this ring.

Strikethrough allows you to hit the mob when it would have other wise been blocked/parry/riposte/ Just like it pretty much says it Strikes through defense abilities of mobs.

Does anyone know if the mana DoT tap the mana transfering it to the ring wearer or is it purely a mana drain effect?

strike through is an ability that goes through those enchanters defence shields.
Heehee... Actually it gives a chance to go through blocks/ripostes etc from what I've heard. Will let the warriors tell yah better, as they're the ones hanging out in that area of the mob (front).
For those who were wondering SoulClawEffect is a DoT for 400 MANA in 5 ticks.

Posted: Jul 03 2003 at 10:50 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ..The way I understand the spell effect is that your own mana is drained to gain the proc effect (SoulClawEffect) on your weapons (like the SK spells that allow their weapon to get a lifetap proc).
Zephyrwind this doesn't take away any mana from the person wielding the ring, it adds a self only proc buff. Then when the buff, called SoulClaw processes it drains 80 mana/tick from the victim for 5 ticks. A total manaloss of 400mana.
