Wow, you're much more helpful than they were! At least they posted something about the WEAPON that this board was MADE for. I would suggest posting something remotely useful before completely and utterly attacking another for a comment they probably had no idea about. Rangers are weaker than other melee classes. Period. We all know it, go ahead and deny it but it's true. You dont have as much HP, so you do not want to get agro, even if you can cast jolt and clear it up. They probably are right, you dont want agro at level 65, you probably aren't a main tank -very often-. So technically, they're right. It -IS- way too fast. Just make sure your warrior is fastER and is TAUNTING. Now then...[/rant]
This weapon is awesome, I dont have it myself, but I wish I did! Sheesh, I honestly dont care about the damage of an item, if the delay is quick. Lower Delay = More hits, and more hits = more damage! Or in my eyes it does at least. I ove stealing agro from a tank, it's quite fun, because then you just FD, get agro off of ya, then steal agro again!!! It's quite fun =). This is speaking from a tank's point of view...if I used my enchanter and stole agro.........Let's just say it wouldn't be pretty ^-^. Oh! Tip for enchanters! You know your 'memory blur' line of spells? I would suggest this strategy...
Root, Tashani, Slow, Mem Blur, Nuke Rinse and Repeat ^_^
See y'all in game! Povar Server =)
---- PS ---- I also wish that this piece of heaven was ShadowKnight usable ;)
Actually, by the time you get to where you can get this weapon, aggro has largely ceased to be a problem. The main tanks usually have weapons that proc Enraging Blow, so I at least have to work to pull aggro even when meleeing. I use a 16/19 main hand and a 16/20 offhand, and normally don't even use Jolt once in an entire evening's raid. As far as I know, each melee class has a weapon somewhere in the elementals that procs a pet. I have personally seen the bard, paladin and warrior ones used, and the pet looks like a floating epic weapon of the appropriate class, complete with partical effects. The warrior one is the 2-weapon version.
